CHAPTER 34: I love you (4)

After he gets into the car and starts the car, he notice that Eve didn't follow him, he pulls down the window of the passenger seat and saw her still standing and he shouts her name, ' Eve, aren't you coming? ' ; Eve is drawn out of her reverie when she heard him call her name, ' ehh...oh yeah.. yeah' she runs hurries up and enters the car and he (Charlie) drives off towards the direction of the house.

They (Charlie and Eve) arrive in front of the house and Eve gets down and runs into the house without waiting for Charlie; Eve runs into her room and shuts the door, immediately her phone rang and she looks up as and saw that the caller were her friends (Nars and Sue), she slide on her phone to answer it (it was a video call); 

"Hey!" Nars and Sue shouted in unison, their voice were deafening that Eve had to close her ears to reduce the effect the noise has on her poor precious little ears; "hey! How are you guys?" Asked Eve; "we are good and you?" Both (Nars and Sue) answered and asked.

"Am good" Eve answered while smiling.

"So any gist?" Sue asked.

"About what?" Eve asked confused.

Nars and Sue looked at each other and back at Eve suspiciously as if she is hiding something from them.

"About the CEO and you, of course!" Sue and Nars chorused together excited to hear what Eve would say.

"Nothing" Eve said looking away from her screen because her face is already hot and is crimson red.

"What do you mean nothing? You are blushing seriously, you need to look at your face in the mirror and you said nothing" Sue said and Nars nodded his head agreeing to what Sue said.

Nars face Eve and said, "spill it out or we would have to go over there and get out of you."

Eve is helpless because she knows if she doesn't talk her friends would find out ways to get it out of her so she decided to tell them about what happened between her and the CEO.

"Wow!" Nars and Sue shouted; "that is so romantic, sweet and dreamy" Sue said while fantasizing how it happened imagining she was there.

"You are one hell of a lucky girl" said Nars; but Eve does not look happy at all.

Her friends noticed and asked her what's wrong; "hey girl, what's wrong?" Asked Sue;

Eve sighs; "I don't think I deserve the CEO"; her friends looked at Eve with a questioning look; "what do you mean by you don't deserve the CEO?" Asked Sue.

Eve hesitates for a while before talking, " well, you know that our worlds are totally different from each other, he is super rich and am super poor, we don't match and besides his family might not like me because I'm poor and probably set him up with an arranged marriage with Natasha for example."

"No, don't say that!"
