CHAPTER 105: KILL HIM

CEO's office~~~~~
Charlie heard a knock on the door and he said to the person outside.
"Come in" with an authoritative voice. Dan walked into the office.
"Good afternoon sir" secretary Dan bowed down and greeted Charlie.
"Mhm... What is it?" Charlie asked.
"Sir... Someone tried to tamper with the brakes of your wife's car" secretary Dan informed and immediately the temperature in the room was brought down to sub zero.
"What!" Charlie said in a low voice but it was still intimidating.
"Someone tried to tamper with your wife's car today but he was caught before he could do anything to the car" secretary Dan said.
"Where is the person now?" Charlie asked.
"He is being brought to the tourturing dungeon, sir" secretary Dan said.
"Were they able to make him confess who sent him?" Charlie asked now becoming impatient and overflowing with anger.
"Someone dared to kill my wife!"
"Tell them to continue torturing him until he talks I will meet them in the tourturing dungeon in one hour" Charlie said.
"Okay sir" secretary Dan said and left the office.
Charlie tried to focus on his work but he kept on thinking about Eve and decided to call her. The phone rang three times before it was picked.
"Hello dear, why are you calling by this time? Aren't you busy?" Eve asked.
"I just wanted to check on you. Where are you now?" Charlie asked.
"We closed early today and I am eating out with Sue and Nars. Hope no problem?" Eve asked munching on chicken wings.
"No... No... Enjoy your lunch" Charlie said.
"Okay, bye" Eve said and cuts the call. Charlie sighs and is happy that Eve is safe. He picks up his phone and calls ken.
"Has he talked?" Charlie asked ken.
"No boss" ken said.
"Damnit! I will be there soon" Charlie said carrying his coat and runs out of his office. He gets into his car and drove off to the location.
Eve eats with her friends unaware of the situation that she almost died today.

At the west wing of Charlie's mansion~~~~~
Tourturing dungeon~~~~~
"Good afternoon boss!" Charlie's men greeted him when he entered the room. Charlie didn't even answer them and asked them.
"Where is he?" Charlie asked impatiently.
"This way boss" ken said gesturing his hands towards the direction of the room the prisoner is been kept.
They walk for like ten minutes before they stopped in front of a door built with iron.
"Open the door" Charlie said and Ken proceeded to open the door. Both of them walked into the room. Charlie saw the man and is already fumming.
"Get him out and bring him to the tourturing room" Charlie said turning his back and leaves the room.
"Yes sir" ken said and signaled two men to bring the prisoner out.
"Please... Please... Have pity on me I can't bear any tourture anymore. I will die if I am tourtured again! Please have mercy on me" the man begged.
Charlie stopped when he heard the pleas of the prisoner. He turns back to face the prisoner and said.
"You would have thought of that before deciding to keep your mouth shut! Bring him out now!" Charlie shouted and went out.
Tourturing room~~~~~
"Tie him up" Charlie said sitting down on his chair crossing his legs.
"Please... Please... Release me" the prisoner begged crying.
"If you want I should release you, then you better start talking or else I don't know what I would do to you" Charlie said coldly swirling an an army's knife in his hands emitting an aura that even made his men flinch.
"Please if I tell you who sent me, I will be a dead man when you release me" the prisoner said.
"Hahahaha..." Charlie laughed. "Do you think they would spare you even though you didn't tell me... The moment I release you and you step out of this place they would probably kill you the moment they lay their eyes on you, so I suggest you start talking" Charlie said.
"I really can't" the prisoner said with a pleading face and voice.
The answer the prisoner gave made Charlie furious. He threw the knife he was holding at the prisoner but it didn't touch him but instead flew past him and struck to the dart board at his back. The prisoner heart jumped out of his chest when he saw the knife Charlie threw fly towards his direction but he closed his eyes and waited for the hit but it never came. He opens his eye and looked behind him and saw the knife struck to the dart board behind him and instant relief washed over him but his hope was tarnished and destroyed with the words that came out of Charlie's mouth next.
"Kill him" Charlie said without feeling any remorse.
"What!" The prisoner shouted. "You can't kill me!" The prisoner said.
"Why can't I kill you? Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you now" Charlie asked tilting his head to to the left resting his back into the chair.
"I still haven't told you who sent me" the prisoner blurted out hurriedly because his life depends on his answer.
"But I thought you said you can't tell me who sent you" Charlie said smirking.
"If you release me I promise to tell you who sent me" the prisoner said while thinking if Charlie releases him he would run away.
"What makes you believe that I can't get information using another method and way apart from you" Charlie said.
"Nobody else knows about this apart from me so it would be hard to find out anything" The prisoner said confidently. Charlie did like he is thinking for some seconds before speaking up.
"Kill him" Charlie said and leaves the tourturing room.
"Yes boss" Sazuki said and proceeded to take out his gun to finish off the prisoner.
"Ha! You can't do this to me! Please!" The prisoner shouted.
"Boom!"
From a distance a loud sound resonated in the building. Charlie walking towards the gate of the secret chamber with ken following behind him. Charlie reached the gate and stopped and faces ken.
"Stay behind and take care of the body before coming" Charlie said and enters his car and remembers something.
"Use the phone recovered from him to send a text message saying am coming for you" Charlie said.
"Yes boss" ken said bowing his head. Charlie starts his car and drove away towards mansion because the distance is a little bit far.

In a small apartment~~~~~
Living room~~~~~
"Where is that damn guy!?" Adriana shouted.
Adriana shouted so loud that her mother in the kitchen heard her and came over to where she sat in the living room.
"What is it?" Sofia asked worried because of the way her daughter shouted.
"The idiot I told to tamper with Eve's car brake hasn't gotten back to me to report if he succeeded or not so as to know the next step to take" Adriana said angrily.
"Be calm, maybe he is busy and will contact you later, let's wait for him a little more" Sofia said. As she was comforting her daughter, the phone Adriana use in contacting the person vibrated. Adriana picked up the phone and checked the message.
Adriana is left in a daze. Her mother was curious to see the message that left her daughter in a daze and is shocked.
"What!" Sofia shouted her eyes bulging out. The shout from her mother brought Adriana out of her reverie.
"We need to be careful because it seems like the idiot has been caught and probably killed. But what we are not sure is if he rats us out" Sofia said worriedly.
"Don't worry, he won't do that" Adriana said.
"Are you sure?" Sofia asked scared.
"Don't worry, I am sure of that" Adriana said confidently.
"Okay, if you say so but we need another plan" Sofia said calming down a little bit.
Both women are left to their own thoughts, thinking of what other way to achieve their goal.
