Few minutes later, secretary Dan came inside the office.
"I have checked the CCTV footages and I discovered that someone was wheeled out of the examination room ma'am was in for her regular check up by two masked men in a doctor's attire.
"Wasn't the doctor assigned to my wife there when this happened?" Charlie asked.
"He left the room after the hospital director left the room " secretary Dan said.
"Dr Philip?" Charlie asked.
"Yes sir" secretary Dan said.
"Okay, you may leave... continue investigating and report to me if you find anything" Charlie said.
"Okay sir " secretary Dan bowed down and left the office. Charlie picks his phone and called the hospital director. The phone rang three times before it was answered.
"Hello Charles, how are you?" Philip asked.
"I am worried about Eve uncle Philip" Charlie said.
"What is wrong? Haven't you seen Eve yet" Philip asked.
"I have not uncle Philip" Charlie said.
"But the doctor that examined her told me that she has left when I went to ask him" Philip was surprised that Charlie has not seen Eve yet is she not supposed to be with him?' he thought.
"Who is the doctor in charge of my wife's check up?" Charlie asked.
"It is Dr Matthew but he was not around at that time so another doctor was assigned to her" Philip said.
"Who is the doctor?" Charlie asked.
"Dr Andrew. Any problem Charles?" Philip asked worried.
"No problem, thanks uncle Philip" Charlie said.
"You are welcome" Philip said and the call ended. 'I wonder what is going on' Philip thought.

"Investigate Dr Andrew and report to me immediately" Charlie ordered ken.
"Yes boss" ken said, bowed and left the office.
'Please be safe wherever you are Eve' Charlie thought.

JK corporation ~~~~~
Mark was giving orders to his employees, when his phone rang.
"Hello son" Mark answered the call.
"Hello dad, how is work at the company?" Charlie asked with a depressed and tired voice.
"Everything is going fine..." Mark noticed the dejection in his son's voice and knew something was wrong and asked him "what is wrong son?" Mark asked.
"Nothing dad, I am just worried about you and the company, that is all" Charlie lied. He tried to sound normal.
"I know you very well Charles, whenever something is wrong is up I will know, so you better start talking" Mark said sternly.
Charlie practically broke down in tears.
"Are you crying?" Mark was seriously surprised.
"Eve is missing dad! Eve is missing!" Charlie blurted out.
"What!" Mark shouted and continued "she is in her last month of pregnancy!" Mark shouted.
"Yes dad, that is what I am worried about. I am scared for them dad... I am scared for my wife and child... I can not afford to lose them" Charlie said crying.
"Have you gotten any news yet?" Mark asked.
"I have been able to get some footages and the doctor who examined her. I have sent my men to investigate the doctor because he acted suspicious.
"Why do you say so?" Mark asked.
"He was in the room when two masked men disguised as doctors went in and took Eve away on a stretcher" Charlie said.
"And after that?" Mark asked.
"Uncle Philip entered the examination room" Charlie said.
"And have you called him to ask him any questions?" Mark said.
"Yes I did" Charlie said rubbing his forehead.
"And what did he say?" Mark asked.
"He said he went to check how Eve's check up is going but when he got there Eve was already gone and he asked the said Dr Andrew and he said that she already left" Charlie said.
"Hmm... The doctor is indeed quite suspicious and we need to get to the bottom of these and find Eve immediately because she would soon give birth" Mark said worriedly.
"Yes I know and I already have my men working on that" Charlie said.
"Okay. If you need any help do not hesitate to ask me, I will be always willing and ready to help in any way" Mark said assuring Charlie that he would be there for him.
"Thank you dad, I will definitely let you know if I need help" Charlie said.
"Anything for my family" Mark said and ends the call.

Back at Devan corporation~~~~~~
Sue, Nars and Charlie's friends; Victor, Racheal, Michael and Ginger already heard about Eve's disappearance and came to comfort Charlie and make him have hope that Eve will be fine.
"Do not worry Charles, Eve would be found" Victor said.
"Yes, I believe... We believe that Eve will be rescued safe and sound" Racheal was the one who spoke up.
As they were comforting Charlie, they heard a knock on the door and they all turned their attention to the door, curious about who is that.
"Come in" Charlie said. Ken walked into the office and greeted everyone in the office.
"Any news?" Charlie asked.
"Dr Andrew is the nephew to Mr Marvin" ken said.
"What!" Sue and Nars shouted.
"What do you mean?" A frown forming on Charlie's face.
"He is the nephew to Mr Marvin from his mother's side and he seems to know about the disappearance of your wife" ken said.
Now Charlie is already angry and everyone in the office could already feel that Charlie is on fire and he could kill anyone without remorse at this rate. Charlie closed his eyes for some while before he opened his eyes and spoke only five words.
"You know what to do" Charlie said.
"Yes boss" ken said and walked out of the office.
Everyone "..."
