CHAPTER 123

Eve went home straight from the hospital. On entering the mansion her phone rang. She looked at the caller an smiled.
"Hello" Eve said as she answered the call.
"Hey babe! How are you?" Sue asked.
"I am fine Sue" Eve said laughing.
"I was told you took a day off because you were sick. What kind of sickness is that? What are the symptoms?" Sue asked anxiously.
"I am feeling better Sue. You and Nars should come over after work, I have something important to tell you both" Eve said.
"What is it? Tell meeee!" Sue gossipy nature kicked in.
"I will tell you both when you are here so stop being a surprise killer and bring Nars over to the house after work" Eve said.
"Okay take care of yourself" Sue said but she sounded like a child whose candy was taken away from her.
"Okay bye" Eve said.
"Bye!" Sue said and ends the call.
Eve laughed and called Evelyn to tell her to get snacks and some refreshments for her Sue and Nars. After she instructed Evelyn, she goes up to the bedroom to freshen up and rest before her friends comes.

Charlie's mansion~~~~~
Eve was still resting in the bedroom when her phone rang.
"Hello" Eve said drowsily because she was still feeling sleepy.
"Hey girl! We are already at your house. Where are you?" Sue asked. Nars keeps murmuring some word in the background that she was not able to hear.
"I am in my room. I will be down in a minute. You can wait for me in the living room" Eve said.she stood up from the bed and arranged herself because she looked funny after sleeping for hours.
Within two minutes Eve was done and went downstairs to meet her friends.
"Hey girl! How you doing?" Sue asked immediately she saw Eve coming down from the stairs.
"I am good. How was work today?" Eve asked.
"Work was boringggg!!!" Nars said fumming. Eve and Sue laughed at Nars childish behavior.
"To tell you the truth it was boring and hard to concentrate especially when we were told you took a day off because you were sick" Sue said.
"Oh... Thanks for your concerns guys but I am not like sick sick" Eve said.
"What do you mean?" Sue and Nars asked Eve confused.
"Well.... I went for a overall body check up today at the hospital and I found out that I.... That I am..." Eve was hesitating.
"You are what?" Sue asked anxiously. Now sueand Nars were looking at her waiting anxiously for what she want to tell them like children waiting eagerly for their own share of Christmas gift.
"I... Am pregnant" Eve said looking and waiting for what Sue and Nars reaction.
Sue and Nars were stunned speechless and words were not able to come out of their mouths.
"WHATTT!" Sue and Nars shouted simultaneously.
"You are pregnant?" Nars asked again to be sure that was what Eve said.
"Really?" Sue said.
"Yes" Eve confirmed.
"Wow! This is good news! Have you told your husband?" Sue said.
"Not yet, but I plan to do so and I need your help on that" Eve said.
"In what way do you need our help? We are your friends and we are always ready to help" Sue and Nars said alternatively.
"First I will arrange flower petals from the living room leading to the bedroom and I also want to decorate our room with balloons and using flower petals to write 'father-to-be' on the bed. What do you think about my idea?" Eve asked.
"It is perfect!" Nars said.
"That is a brilliant idea. So when do we start?" Sue asked Eve eager to help eve out with her surprise plan.
"Now... We need to start immediately, like now before he gets back" Eve said.
"Okay let us begin" Sue said.
Sue helped Eve order the materials they needed for their plan. While they were waiting for their orders, they planned on help they would execute their plan.
Thirty minutes later, their orders arrived, they signed the paperwork for the deliveryman and took their orders and went inside.
They started decorating the house with the materials.

Charlie's mansion~~~~~~~
Charlie walked into the house and is surprised with the decorations in the living room. He saw that the directions of the flower petals which seem to go all the way through the stairs.
He followed the directions upstairs and it stopped at the door of their room. He opened the door and is shocked the more. He goes in and saw the decorations on the floor and he hung his mouth open.
The flower petals says that he is a father-to-be'. He looked up at Eve and down at the words on the floor. He pointed to the words on the floor and looks at Eve for confirmation. Eve nodded her head and said,
"Yes I am" Eve smiled at Charlie.
Charlie dropped his bag on the floor and ran to Eve who was sitting on the bed and hugged her, kissing her all over her face and her stomach.
"You mean you are pregnant?" Charlie asked very happy. He has been moody all day because his employees did not impress him with their presentation.
"Yes" Eve said laughing at Charlie's reaction.
"Thank you" Charlie said suddenly.
"For what?" Eve asked confused.
"For everything, for having my baby, for granting me the wish of being a father and of course rescuing me from father's nagging self" Charlie said the last word laughing and Eve joined in laughing with him.
"You are right about that and you know we need to tell him about him becoming a grandfather" Eve said.
"Yes I know that and we would go straight to the old mansion and tell him first thing tomorrow morning" Charlie said. He is extremely happy because of the news.
"You did all these just to surprise me" Charlie said pointing at the whole decorations.
"Don't you like it?" Eve asked looking wronged.
"I love it, and would have rewarded you if you were not pregnant" Charlie said.
"Okay, I am tired, let's go to bed".
