CHAPTER 47

All the proper in the closer gates had already started to protest. Martin sent Lady Akeshia to go and inquire what the protest was all about.

Lady Akeshia was astonished to find out that the protest was all about Tere. They all wanted Tere to leave her matrimonial home since she had once cheated on her husband..

Martin immediately left to settle scores with them. He did not like the fact that they were begining to cause chaos. 

" What is it? Tere is my wife. I cannot just abandon her and send her away like she never meant anything to me. Purist would feel hurt and I do not want to really hurt my own daughter. I suggest you all go back to your houses. As soon as I finish my scores with Tere then I will definetly send her away" said Martin who signalled them to leave.

All the people at the closer gates feared Martin. They all left without a word. 

Martin immediately went to his matrimonial room. He was surprised to find Tere sleeping on top of the bed and singing for him his favourite song like she always did a long time before she cheated on him. Martin was already swayed with the song. Ruth who was watching by the door felt bad and left crying. On seeing this, Martin immediately followed her and stopped her. 

" Where are you going? Why are you leaving?" Said Martin who was already getting emotional by the situation. 

" You always lied to me that you loved me. Today I have witnesses everything. I have witnessed the fact that you still love your wife. Just let me go Martin. I want to go back home to mama. I don't want this marriage anymore. I am hurt Martin" said Ruth as she began crying. 

Why was she even crying?

Did she have to?

Ruth never understood the main reason why. She wanted to leave but Martin stopped her and this time he kissed her passionately. Tere who had been watching by the corridor left angrily.

" No Martin. Why did you let her into our matrimonial room? Do you love me any less? Don't you care about me anymore? I am extremely dissapointed in you. How can a song away you away like that? Do you like her voice?" Asked Ruth who was still crying. 

" No Ruth. I just like the song so much. It's the song my mother used to sing for me before she and Papa died. I found their bodies lying down at the mansion here at the closer gates. Since then , I have been trying to find out what really happened to them. I have been trying to find out who the real murderer was. I do not think that anybody had the right to do this to my mother. It truly hurts Ruth. Don't leave like they did"

" But you are the one trying to leave. If I did not intervene who knows what could have happened. You both could have already been intimate with one another. I love myself so much. I do not want to beg for love. I do not want to extremely plead for love. I just want to be loved Martin. I am really dissapointed in you. I am going to see to see my grandma Magdalene and you have to let me go" said Ruth who lossened herself from Martin and left. 

Martin immediately went to look for Tere. He found Tere seated at the balcony watching the view of the closer gates. He slapped her intentionally. Tere widened her eyes in disbelief. It is what she had not really expected to happen. 

" What is this Martin? Have I done anything wrong?" Asked Tere as tears welled down her eyes .

" Yes! You knew very well that easily got swayed by the song yet you decided to still.song for me . Do you know that it almost ruin my marriage? Our was marriage was nullified long time ago Tere. I don't think that you should try all your strengths to get me back to you. There is indeed no need that you should. I don't love you anymore Tere"

" What about Purist?"

" She is my daughter and I love her too much. We were fine without you and we are still going to be fine without you. I have indeed made my decision. It's a tough decision to make but I just have to. You are leaving the mansion today"

" At the expense of that girl!"

" Yes at the expense of my wife. Purist does not need you like you think. I was only accepting you into my home since I knew that you had no any other place to go to. Ehat else shall I do to make you stay .I have no more reason. So! Go and pack. Start leaving this mansion" said Martin who pushed her away. 

" No! Tere is not going anywhere. You chose to hsve two wives. You will have to deal with both of them and their jealousy's but make sure that you do not hurt my granddaughter because I willl make this place unbearable for you. I don't want to see her shed any tears like today. I love my granddaughter so much and that is the main reason why I came back for her. You must all understand that. You must understand that that is the main reason why" shouted grandma Magdalene. 

Tere immediately wiped her tears and smiled. She left the balcony immediately..

" Let's go Martin" said Ruth who held his arm and led him to their matrimonial room. 

MAGDALENE'S POV.

This is the only way to ensure that you and my granddaughter will divorce within no time. Once that happens, I will take everything that belongs to me back.
