CHAPTER 34

Ruth went back to the room and was surprised to see Martin seated on top of the bed filled with a lot of fury. 

She aimlessly went and sat beside him. She felt guilty for how she had treated him. She also realized that she was not in the right straight of mind. 

" You promised me that we will go shopping to the mall love. Why don't you help me and choose the sort of dress that I shall wear? Don't you think it will be good of you to do so. I would really like to go the mall with you," said Ruth smiling. 

" I changed my mind. What's the nedd of educating a wife who doesn't treasure you. She is always afraid of me and dies not want anything to do with me. You must understand that there are laws in this land which must never be broken. I will put it into hand that I feel regretful to have a minor for you. Just choose the sort of dress that you shall wear and join me in the dining for breakfast" said Martin who left the room. 

Ruth remained standing aghast for a while. She did not understand what was really going on with her. 

Why did she have to be harsh on him?

Why did she hurt him?

She thought she loves him!

Lady Akeshia who was checking on her decided to help her choose the best costume for breakfast. After she helped Ruth to dress, Ruth signalled her to sit .

" Tell me what pleases Martin the most. I really want him to forgive me for something bad that I have done to him. This little time that he has left me here, I have realized that I really love him so much. Please tell me everything that I need to know about him Lady Akeshia. At least you were his nanny as he grew up" said Ruth a bit worried. 

" He behaves strange nowadays. I might not know what he likes most but I no one thing that his wife used to do to him before they slept . She used to make the bed with lots if lovely flowers. Switch on the lights and light the candles. Then prepares a dinner on bed. Martin used to like it perfectly done especially when he was tired. You know the rest of the story. You must have to be totally devoted to Martin if you really want him to forgive you" said Lady Akeshia smiling. 

" Thank you so much Lady Akeshia .This little advice of yours will be able to help me. At least I will feel at ease when all this surpasses. I am not just used to being to romantic. The first man that I ever loved only focused on his education and did not have time to discuss about such things" said Ruth smiling. 

She was already lost in thoughts but kept smiling all the time. 

" Do you still like that man? I might say as well that you are just amazed after you have remembered your old times with him. Just be happy my dear. You should not keep remembering such things. You are such a cute girl. And there is one thing that you do not know about Martin. He loves to be Romantic but you do not give him the best way to be. If you really want to keep your marriage, then you really have to" said Lady Akeshia smiling. 

She took Ruth's arm and led her to the dining table. Ruth silently sat and was served her breakfast by Lady Akeshia.
