CHAPTER 200

Ryan had given Ruth the umbilical cord as he had promised but he really was truly upto something. He pulled Ruth towards him and stroke her hair.This made Ruth to slap him and stand moving away from him.

" What do you think you are doing Ryan?" Asked Ruth angrily.

" Claiming my rights since that you are not and will never get married to me. The only person that you love us that old foolish Martin. Why don't you choose me? Am I not your agemate?" Asked Ryan filled with lots of anger.

" You are not my agemate Ryan, you are a murderer. You killed my grandma because she always made decisions about my life. You felt that maybe she would change her mind later on and say that she didn't want me to get married to you. Did you really have to kill her? Couldn't you have just threatened her to get out of Mambo town and never come back? I am very dissapointed in you"Ruth shouted at Ryan.

" Fine! This is my decision  I do not really care whether your family is leaving or not. All what I know is that you are not leaving here " said Ryan who immediately left Ruth's room and looked the door from the outside. 

He was astonished to find that Evelyn was standing outside the door. Evelyn signalled to Ryan to open the door who opened the door with much hesitation. 

" Good! Ruth can never be yours and she will never be yours Ryan. You may try through many hills and mountains but I assure you that it will never come to pass because I am back and I am here to make things right" said Evelyn who entered Ruth's room. 

Ryan stood aghast for a while a bit devastated. His love for Ruth was now an obsession but he promised himself that he would do everything to bring Ruth back into his life.

Ruth on the other hand finished parking her clothes and left accompanied by Evelyn to the living room. Ruth immediately left and went to sit beside Nelly whose tears were welling down her eyes. 

" You managed to make me the case manager but now you are leaving. You are leaving with Vivian who I am sure will take her position through any means. I only felt secure by your protection Ruth" said Nelly in a pellucid voice.

" Listen Nelly. I may be leaving but whenever there is a problem, you are free to come to me and tell me. I will run here and fight for you Nelly. Use this as your protection please" said Ruth as she handed over a bracelet to Nelly.

" What? You have given me a bracelet? How then is this bracelet going to protect me?" Asked Nelly a bit astonished. 

" This bracelet is going to protect you in every way. Raise it at anyone who tries to harm you and then you will see them walking away" said Ruth.

" Thank you Ruth. Shall we? I mean ....can I escort you outside atleast" said Nelly smiling.

" Of course Nelly. You have the right to escort me outside without any problem" said Ruth. 

They therefore left the mansion but as soon as they arrived outside, they saw Ryan carrying Jackson, Purist's some while she was married while pointing a gun at him. This made Purist to try and go towards him to save Jackson but Ryan dared her not to come any closer. 

" Just a few minutes ago, I was in my beloved Ruth's room but then she shut me away and threatened me using her grandma Evelyn. I therefore told her that she will become mine no matter what. Purist is ready to protect her child at any cost but I don't need her to do so. All I need is for you to come to me Ruth and we leave this place once and for all" said Ryan in a commanding manner.

" Mama! I know that you understand I love Jackson so much. He became my son the little time I spent with him as a married woman and you are the one that taight me the fact that you do not have to give birth to a child to become a mother. Now I am pleading with you to protect my son. Please go to Ryan" said Purist as she folded her arms towards Ruth.

" What are you saying Purist? Are you out of your mind?" Asked Faith angrily. 

" Maybe I am, maybe I am not but what I know is that Ruth is the only one who can protect my son Jackson right now" said Purist.

" My daughter has sacrificed so many things because of you. Are you still asking her to sacrifice more? What sort of a person are you Purist?" Asked Naomi angrily. 

" Leave it mama. I think I should do it. I think I should sacrifice my life for Jackson" said Ruth as she suddenly walked and went towards Ryan. 

As soon as she arrived at where Ryan was standing, Ryan signalled her to enter the car and entered the car too accompanied by Jackson. He therefore drove off fron the mansion. 

Naomi fell on the ground out of frustruation. She was happy that they were finally going to leave but had no idea of the fact that Ryan was planning to take her Ruth.

" My daughter is suddenly leaving but you are all looking at her like that .Can't you just leave and save her? Are there no any other cars around? What's the use of being a witch if none of us can be able to use our powers at all?" Asked Naomi as tears welled down her eyes.

" Aunt Naomi! You cannot really say that we don't know how to use our powers. The fact is that things have happened so fast. I don't know about others but as for me I know like that. Anyway, I have to find a piece of cloth that Ruth has wore recently and use it to find her then burn it after wards. This will make the car to get into an accident and Ruth will finally be back to us. Is that not what you really want Aunt Naomi?" Asked Evelyn laughing annoyingly.

" I want my daughter back into my arms safe and sound but I do not really mean that you have to kill Ryan. If anyone is mad, all they need is to be taken to the hospital and not to be killed . That is what I feel that Ryan needs. He needs to be taken to the hospital and that is the exact place where he going to be taken. It wil be too bad that by then she will already have alot of bruises all over her body. I wish I had the power and might to save her from that but there is nothing I can do. He has had the guts to kidnap the woman that I love the most in this world" said Evelyn as she went towards Ruth's suitcase and began checking for Ruth's clothes which had sweat that she had wore recently but did not find any.

" Please go to her room and find out if she has left any clothes there" Evelyn suddenly sent Purist to Ruth's room after she did not find anything on Ruth's suticase. 

" Ruth is my friend too Evelyn but I am not sure that this is the right way to save her. We will only be inviting too much trouble in her life. I am sure of the fact that my Ruth will not like this at all. She likes winning through good ways. She will fight this battle by herself and will bring little Jackson back to her daughter Purist" said Faith smiling. 

Evelyn looked at Faith filled with lots of anger. This means that she had no Faith in whatever Faith was saying. She did not have trust and believe in Ruth at all the same way that everybody had Faith in Ruth. 

Ruth on the other hand had began convincing Ryan to let her go. She knew that Ryan was only putting his own life in danger. Anybody who kidnapped a woman in their society was considered as an outcast and Ryan risked that because of the love that he had Ruth. 

" I will say that I wanted to go with you if the whole world gets to know about this but please, do not put your life in danger because of me Ryan. Your sister Nelly is waiting for you back at home. Can't you atleast put that into consideration? What sort of a person are you? Are you not to care about relations and everything else? Doe love overcome  everyfhing in this earth?" Asked Ruth. 

" Yes Ruth. Love overcomes everything in this earth and you are the one who has taught me that. Let's die first and then the others we will think about them later" said Ryan which astonished Ruth. 

Ruth therefore decided that she was going to save herself through her own means since Ryan was not ready to listen to her.
