Chapter 28

I was taken aback when I saw her. Oh my goodness, does she know I'm a wolf? "I'm aware of who you are," she revealed, I assume she was the one who saved my last night. "Are you a supernatural as well?" I inquired. "I'm a witch," she replied, and set the tray she was holding on the stool.

"You'll be late for school, Lydia, so go get dressed," she said. "All right," Lydia replied as she walked away. "Eat up and go home so you won’t be late for school," she said as she exited the room. As I looked at the food she had brought in the tray, my stomach rumbled in anticipation, and I clutched my stomach and drew the stool closer to eat before I died of hunger.

****************

When I walked into the school, all I could hear were my footsteps in the hallway. I raised my hand to check the time on my waist watch, expecting classes to end in a few seconds.

It would be pointless to rush to class when it would be over soon. I could take my time to walk down the hallway. I came to a halt by my locker on the left side of the hallway. In order to unlock the locker, I placed my thumb on the fingerprint scanner to verify my biometric identity as the owner.

It made a noise after it was unlocked. I opened it and took out some new books from my bag, stacking them in the locker. After I finished putting books in the locker, I closed it again.

As I turned and put my bag on my back properly, the bell rang through the silent hallway, and students struggled out of the classrooms, as if they had been waiting for the bell, lazy pupils.

I couldn’t believe the hallway that was empty a while ago was already crowded in seconds. I found my way through the crowds into the classroom. I knew Josh and Jack would still be in the classroom, they don’t like bumping into others in the hallway.

I walked in, bumping into Elizabeth. "Hey” she said softly "Hey," I replied, with a gorgeous smile on my face. "How are you doing,” she asked “Why are you just coming to school by the way?" she inquired, "I’m cool, what about you,” I answered, “I got out of bed late, that’s why I’m late," I added, “I’m cool, that’s weird you are always up early, I wonder what you were up too doing the night,” she said.

I noticed Josh conversing with Lydia. I was curious as to know what she was doing in my class. Did she accompany Ms. Lisa? "What is she doing in our class?" I asked. "Who?" she questioned, and she turned around to face her.

"She's a new classmate," she explained. "Oh, I had the same thought," I said. She and Bella exited the classroom, while I walked to my seat. Josh and Jack both smiled and said “Wassup, man,” “Yo, I’m good,” I replied, shaking hands with each other.
