Chapter 27

I murmured to myself, "I have to know his weak point." I remembered bringing a dagger along to fight him. Ellie gave me the dagger for situations like this. I brought out the dagger and took a glimpse at it.

I snarled and dashed towards him. He aimed a punch at me. I weaved it and slid in between his legs, making a cut with the dagger. He roared in agony. I lifted him from the back and smashed him to the ground.

I held him in his hand and launched him to the pavilion. I guess my plan was working. Striking the dagger was my next target.

I walked towards him. He got up all of a sudden and dashed towards me with his super speed. In the blink of an eye, he held me from the back. I felt his long, sharp fangs in my neck.

I snarled in pain, with veins crawling over my body, my hands cracking, but I made sure I held on to the dagger that was my only hope of survival. While he was trying to feed on me, I stabbed the dagger into his stomach and removed it.

He released his bite and roared. I turned with my super speed and stabbed the dagger straight into his heart, repeatedly. He held his breath, moaning faintly.

I removed the dagger and staggered backwards, using my left hand to hold where he had bitten me. I watched him fall to the ground recklessly, groaning in pain.

His body was slowly transforming into a human, and I collapsed to the ground in agony, my body trembling, sweat dripping from my brow; the man who had been the beast had transformed into a human.

He struggled to crawl towards Stephen till he gave up the ghost. I heard footsteps approaching me rapidly, shouting my name. I began to feel dazzled gradually and shut my eyes.

The light rays shone brightly into my eyes. I opened my eyes to find a room that did not belong to me. Sitting up, I looked around at my surroundings. There was only one window, a single bed, in which I was asleep, and a stool beside the bed. The room was not that spacious.

I’m confused by how I got here in the first place. I put my legs off the bed and onto the cold tiled floor. As I stood, I heard a knock on the door. I came to a halt and waited for the person to enter.

The person came into the room. The door cracked as the person made their way into the room. It was a girl with pink and white braids. Her face was clean, an oval-shaped face with soft blue eyes.

She would be around my age, mate. She was wearing comfy grey shorts and a printed white one-shoulder t-shirt, revealing her hourglass shaped body and not too tall. She was pretty.

I was lost looking at her. "Hey, are you done looking at me?" she asked. She sounded rude. "Who are you?" I inquired. She walked closer while Ms. Lisa walked in.
