Chapter 101

I ran my two hands under the faucet and used the water to clean my face. This was something I did for a while before reaching for the toothpaste. I opened it and rubbed it against my toothbrush.

Then I began brushing my teeth. While brushing my teeth, various thoughts began to pass through my mind, indicating that Jack and Josh have been working together all along, which I had never considered. I really let down my guard.

But I hope Josh doesn't know too much. I still have faith in Jack, if not both of them. Who knows if his uncle is using him to gather information in order to track me down. Bryan has been unusually quiet recently. I'm curious if he's still in town.

Aside from that, Fiona nearly killed me with her pain infliction. I'm not sure I'll let her go the next time she tries that on me. The agony was excruciating.

I've been in the bathroom ever since. I'm going to be a few minutes late for school. I spit the toothpaste out. I turned on the water and drew a cup of water to rinse my mouth. - I had to rush to get dressed up for school, but I looked great in a black round-neck baggy top, a blue combat with a blue Jordan airforce, and a black cap.

I dashed downstairs for breakfast. I took my place in the dining room, my breakfast in front of me. "Hey Lora, hey Lydia," I said softly as I greeted them both.

Lydia replied “Hey,”  while continuing to eat her breakfast.

I believe I've figured out why I'm not getting a response from Lora. I'm guessing she's still upset about what happened yesterday. "Lora, please accept my apologies for what happened yesterday," I begged.

Her face lit up with a huge smile. That's probably what she was hoping to hear from me.

"No, it's fine. I hope you had a good night's sleep, "She inquired.

"Yeah, I did," I admitted. "How about you?" I inquired.

"My night was enjoyable. Thank you very much "She responded.

Hello there, "I continued to eat my breakfast, I said.

I realised I hadn't seen my mother since I came downstairs. "Where is mum?" I inquired.

"Are you just noticing her absence?" Lydia responded.

"Are you going to stop acting like a fool and start talking?" Exasperated, I demanded.

"She worked the night shift at the hospital," Lora interjected. "And if you want to abuse each other, get it out of here," she added.

"Blah blah blah, thank you, I don't need to know any longer," I sneered.

" Then I went back to eating and pretended I hadn't said anything to her. Things were easy to get to her.

It's not your fault; I should not have responded to you," she said provocatively.

I finished my breakfast quickly after that. When they were finished, we all took our schoolbags and went outside to school. I went to get my motorcycle while Lora waited behind to lock the door.
