I was only in boxers, blood all over my body and in her backyard, and I have no idea what happened; all I remember is coming out of the bathroom after taking a shower and sleeping on the bed.
She walked slowly towards me, Adam, "Are you the one?" she inquired, and I nodded, "Yes.""How did you end up here?" she asked. "Elizabeth, are you the one outside there?" her mummy asked.
"Don’t worry, you will explain later. Go and hide first," she murmured, "Okay, where can I hide?" I asked, and I sighted somewhere in her backyard, that her mum would not see me.
I stood up to my feet and ran to hide there. She turned and walked to the door, bumping into her mum. "You were calling me mum," she said. "Are you the only one out here?" Elizabeth's mum asked.
"Yes," she replied. There was silence. I assumed her mummy was still doubting. Okay, but you're not going to school today, doesn’t mean you should mess up the house, " Her mummy said, "I’m heading out now. Come and close the door," she added.
They both left the backyard, closing the door behind. I was really happy to hear Elizabeth wasn’t going to school, and she would be the only one at home. I patiently waited for her to come back and open the backyard door.
Shortly after, I heard the door sound. I believe she’s the one opening it. I came out of the place I was hiding. She opened the door widely for me to enter. "Coming," she said calmly, and I entered.
The backyard door led directly into the kitchen."Thank you Elizabeth for letting me in," I said, appreciating her. "Take call your Mrs. Stones (your Mummy), she must be worried," she replied, extending her phone towards me.
I couldn’t call her; she must not know about the situation. I think I know what to do. I collected the phone from her while she left to go and close the door.
I dialed Lydia’s number, it began to ring, and she picked it up after it rang severely, "Hello," she said."It's me, Adam," I replied, "Adam!" She exclaimed, interrupting me.
"Shh, keep quiet, don’t let mum know I’m not at home, please. I’m going to explain later when we meet," I said, "Or does she know I’m not at home?" I added.
"She’s not yet home. I guess you are safe. She was on night shift in the hospital yesterday," she said softly, Lydia asked. "Should I bring a cloth over for you when I’m going to school?" Lydia asked.
"That’s cool, thanks boo," I said, hanging up the call on her. "I guess she gave you some nice information, you look happy," Elizabeth said. "Yeah, my mum was on night shift," I replied. I returned the phone she gave me back to her. "Ohh, I see, lucky you," she said, collecting the phone. "And Lydia would bring me some clothes," I added, while we headed upstairs to her room so I could take a shower.
