When I walked into the Elrod’s primary residence in Bowhill’s town, there was a long dining table, which had different varieties of fruits and bottles of wine.
While I was walking towards the table where they were sitting, I looked around to see if my mummy was there, but I could not notice her presence.
"Welcome to the abattoir," Alaric said, laughing out loud.
He had the same way of laughing as Nicholas did, with such a devilish laugh. I felt like running through the table and smashing his head into the ground, but I had to control my anger because he had not handed over my mummy to me.
But he wasn’t the only one present at the table. Opposite where I was going to sit down was Alaric. On both sides of the table, there were six chairs. On the right side of Alaric, Robert was sitting down on the first chair.
After him was Richard, followed by Manson, while on the left side were people I don’t know. Their faces look new among the coven, but I suspect they are working for Alaric, not Robert. I shifted the seat backwards and sat down.
"Thanks for inviting me to a gathering like this, Alaric, or let me say, Daniel," I said, smiling.
I wanted to be sure if Alaric had been the one disguising himself as Daniel all this while, because the Alaric I’m seeing looks really different from the Daniel I saw, even with the voice, and I also remember Mr. Fred talking about him using a fake identity.
He burst into a loud laugher. I wondered what was funny, though. "I guess you have found out yourself, because I was about to tell you," he said.
I said, softly but deadly, "I’m not actually here for that. I’m here to get my mummy."
They all burst into loud laughter, which got me really annoyed. I guess that is it enough if the talk needs to show them I’m not here to play. I should make them know that.
I closed my eyes slowly, squeezing them together, trying to bring my anger to gather and unleash the anger on the closest person to me. I opened my eyes slowly, changing the colour of my eyes. They had started to notice I was transforming into my supernatural form already, which made them stop laughing and knew I wasn’t there to joke around with them.
Before they could notice, I was out of my seat, and I had jacked up Manson from his seat, placing a stake of wood on his chest, which would make him know that he could die at anytime.
I took a few steps backwards, with my hand across Manson's neck and a stake of wood on his heart. They all got up from their seats.
"Where is my mummy? Bring her out or he dies," I said, yelling.
While I knew deep down that I was gambling with my mummy, I just had to try and wait for the outcome. While the rest were standing, Alaric didn’t seem to be moved.
