A choice to make

Anthony's POV 

I saw how sad Olivia was when she walked out of my office, I wanted to say so many things to her, but the words were stuck in my mouth. I hissed heavily before relaxing on my chair. Furthermore, I looked at my watch and noticed It was time to go home. I picked up my things and left the office. I walked over to Olivia's office but noticed she was already gone, I hissed in frustration before walking out of her office.

When I got home, I met dad sitting in the garden .he noticed me and waved at me to come sit with him, 

“Hey, Dad”. I greeted 

“How you son, “.he asked 

“Not great”. I replied truthfully.

He gave me a worried look before speaking up 

“Do you wanna talk about it “.he asked, 

I took a deep breath and started talking

“I and Olivia had sex “. I whispered hoping he won't hear me, but he eventually did .he gave me a shocked look before speaking up 

“So what now ?”.he asked 

“I don't know dad, I'm confused “. I said those words while running my fingers in my hair.

“Have you and Olivia talked about it “.dad asked, 

“Not yet “. I replied to him 

“You have to talk about it son, sex isn't just anything, you know that right “.dad spoke up in a serious tone I stare at dad and noticed he was worried about Olivia. I hissed in frustration and looked away,

“I'm confused, dad”. I whispered

“Why, “he asked I hissed heavily before speaking up 

“I have to make a choice dad “.the words came from my mouth .dad stare at me with a confused look

“What are you talking about, “.he asked 

“I have to choose between Olivia and my unborn child “. I told Dad .dad kept quiet for a moment, and I could see the confusion on his face.

“Are you planning on getting married to Linda”.dad asked

“Yes “. I replied to him, “How can you even think of doing that” dad spoke in anger. I noticed he was furious and doesn't like the idea of me getting married to Linda.

“I don't fucking have a choice, dad, do you think it's easy for me “? I spoke in anger. I and dad sat there in silence and did not say a word.

“Did Linda threatened you “.dad asked with concerned 

“It doesn't matter dad “. I replied him 

He stared at me with a worried look before speaking up

“Your mom is aware of this right ?”.he asked in anger. The expression on his face shows he was furious, and I knew they will fight over this .how did I get into this, I asked myself, .dad placed his hand on my shoulder and looked at me 

“I trust you to make the right decision “.he taps my shoulder and left me in the garden

I chuckled at his words .how can he think I can decide on this .here is me losing my child and might not see him or her if I don't get married to Linda .and the other hand I will lose Olivia the love of my life if I get married to Linda? The thought of losing Olivia brought a sharp pain to my heart, and I couldn't help but hiss in frustration. I closed my eyes and the thought of Olivia came to my mind.  I recalled how beautiful it was that morning, lying in bed with her. Not only that, but I couldn't help but notice how shy and innocent she was with me that day.  I have always dreamt and wished for things to be this way between us and the moment I had the chance I still couldn't have her.

I snapped out of my thought when I noticed a figure standing before me.  I looked up and saw Linda standing before me with her hand crossed.  I felt angry and irritated at once.

“You are finally back “.she spoke up 

I ignored her and stood up from the chair, she moved in front of me and blocked my path 

“What is the meaning of this “. I asked in anger 

“You should stop avoiding and start treating me as your future wife”.she spoke up 

I chuckled evilly and moved closer to her 

“I can never see you as my wife “. I told her with a serious tone. She rolled her eyes at me before speaking up, 

“Not like you have a choice “.she spoke with a victory smile on her face. I stare at her and noticed she knew I wouldn't give up on my child. I hissed and gently pushed her away and left the garden.

I got to my room and took a quick bath and changed up. After bathing, I heard a knock on my door.at first, I ignored it, but the knock kept on coming.  I lazily stood up from the bed and walked up to the door. I was about to shout at the person when I noticed it was aunt penny standing in front of me, immediately I saw her my mood changed and a flashed her a small smile.

“Dinner is ready". I wanted to tell her I will be downstairs in a minute, but then I remembered Linda would be there, and I couldn't bear the sight of her.

“I won't be coming downstairs for dinner, can you bring it up here “. I told her .she gave me a worried-looking before leaving. A few minutes later, aunt penny came back to my room with a tray of food in her hands. I thanked her and took the food from her. I got back to my room and placed the food on my worktable.

I took a bit of the food and realized I did not have the appetite for food. I hissed angrily and stood up from the chair, I walked over to my bed and lay on it. I lay on the bed and my thought was on Olivia. I wondered what she must be thinking of me by now, and I wondered who she was with. The thought of her been with another man or Jude brought a sharp pain to my heart and I couldn't bear it, 

I can't lose Olivia, not to Jude or anyone else.  I told myself those words before forcing myself to sleep..
