Chapter 18

   The queen was devastated, but she also tried to keep a straight face,Athena wasn't happy either, she was also confused,how can having a baby be so depressing, they should be happy,and she also promised to be back so why are they still sad?".

   There must be something,they were not telling her,and she was determined to find out,she kissed the king and queen a final goodbye, then followed lady Mel.

   " Lady Mel?``What are you hiding from me?" she said in an authoritative tone,lady Mel was taken aback by her word," how did she find out? No one knows so how did she find out"?  Lady Mel said within herself, "nothing  Athena,everyone is just nervous about the baby" with the look on Athena's face she wasn't convinced but she didn't want to get on lady Mel's bar side so she kept quiet.

    Athena and lady mel had to find a perfect way for Athena to be born as a human, and there way a baby that looked really familiar, though it was like a really premature baby, lady Mel looked at the baby with a faint smile on her face, seems she found a perfect child, that Athena would possess,the reason for possessing,to make I easy to leave,when the perfect time comes, without the vessel dieing.

      Lady Mel accompanied Athena,to the human world,and she kissed lady Mel before possessing an unborn baby, though I could see the woman's face, I was really nervous, lady Mel guarded the woman from every evil eyes,while she kept communicating with Athena, Athena found it intriguing,it was her first time possessing anyone, it was the beginning of her adventure anyway.

      Lady Mel would also pass information to the king and queen about Athena's wellbeing. They were happy  that their daughter was safe, or was she?Everyone was informed about the danger coming their way and some questioned the disappearance of the princess.

     The king told them the truth,but unlucky for them there was a spy among them,who passed information to the enemy. Others were happy with the decision the king took sending the princess away, she was the youngest, of all and at least there would be someone representing them, when they were all dead.

     "My lord, we would fight till our last breath no matter what,she would die as heroes and not weaklings" Ares said and the others agreed except Aristophane, he shouted "No! " He was a less powerful god,and also evil minded. He was the one who sold the god and goddess clan to the enemy.

   " my lord,the vision seer said we would all die,if we fight,why don't we run away and avoid death,there's no need fighting" everyone one looked at him,he has always been a coward but what he said made people rethink their decision,they can all flee from the land,and leave to tell the tale or they fight and die as legends.

    Majority were scared and few stood their grounds,then Aristophane,led feeble minded people,while the rest stood beside the kind,ares trained them,since he was a skilled swordsman, Aristophane,fed the other with lies about their king,making them grow hatred for the royal family,the king was sad when he heard the news concerning his people. 

    They had joined his enemy,to take him down,maybe he wasn't a good king,now for sure they would be overpowered by his enemy, everything happened so fast,he couldn't comprehend it,he doesn't want his wife to be used as a slave or his people killed, his reign as king was cursed, he went back to the vision seer, for any update on the issue.

     There was no useful information, his people would still die if they embark on the war, but if they don't their life would be miserable, so he decided to leave as a slave than let his people down, it was his only option, he informed his people about his decision, they were all sad but had to follow the king's decision, the vision seer informed them that all will be well, the princess would bring things back to the way they were .

    There was a hint of hope in there heart,but how will the princess save them if she wasn't aware there was trouble at the first place, they were all caught off guard when their land was invaded by a dark forces entered their land, it was 'loviatar  and hel', very powerful evil gods that existed before the king,

    No wonder,it was seen they would be defeated,no one has ever fought with them and survived, the king stood up,with his hands held above his head "lord loviatar and lord hel,I and my people surrender, he was thrown against the wall and everyone flinched,it was a sudden attack, fear creeped Into their heart, if only they had listened to Aristophane they would be on a safer side.

    "Where's Athena? Hel yelled  at the king,the king was shocked by the question,how did they find out Athena was missing,oh! Aristophane,the king just bowed his head without saying anything,he couldn't reveal his daughter's location, lord  loviatar materialized beside the king,after hel threw him on the wall the fifth Time.

     The wall of the  palace splitted into two and the roof were threatening to fall,but the king refused to tell them, " take me instead" the king said, loviatar placed his hands on the king's head in other to read his memory, he found out that she possessed a vessel on earth, 

     "Hel,I found, where Athena is hiding",the king was shocked by,his remark,how did you find Athena,please don't hurt her the king said with teary eyes,he was weak,and had no other option,their power combined would overpower him,and his people were left in a vulnerable situation,they couldn't use their magic.

       They wanted to kill Athena, hel took the people including the king and queen back to their land, where they were used as slaves.
