Chapter 43

   This is not normal, he must have been threatened by someone, I went to my room racking my brain, why did the pastor confess, without thinking of his reputation?I couldn't come up with a solution neither could Kailani or Athena.

     They didn't sence any celestial being, I am not sure anyone saw them, even though they were standing right beside me, I had to sleep over it, I haven't told Athena about the state of her home, nor have I told kailani.

    I felt bad hiding it from them, but I wouldn't want to ruin their day, 'we would figure things out',  when I thought about the dream, am I being selfish?No, it's for the best.

    My mom was In a sober mood that night, and I couldn't do anything about it, nor could I blame her for listening to what a pastor said. I slept that night thinking about what could have possibly gone wrong?.

      I saw myself under water, it looked like Kailani's home, everything was back to normal, the sea weeds were very much green, I could see shells, beautiful she'll with different colors, I swam further, I saw lady nalu and kailani.

     That same moment when Kai was handing kailani to lady nalu, seeing her distressed face piercing my heart,  she was giving nalu orders on how to protect kailani, nothing is more painful than a mother giving away her child.

        I must have  shed tears, but I was under the deepest ocean in South Africa, well spiritually, I was left speechless at the  last two  sentences, Kai uttered, " any one who hurts her would have a threatened generation, and protect her mate".

         This sentence is more or her curse than an order, the grief Kai's tone possessed, would be more than dangerous if anyone ever hurts kailani, why am I here?, I could have been in a different realm, but why here?Athena is not here to give me answers.

    I have to think for myself, I must be here to learn something, I slept with the thought of what could have possibly gone wrong, to make the pastor confess to his lies about me, and kailani!!.

    Yes that is the answer, Kai cursed whoever hurt her daughter, and since I am the vessel for Kailani's soul I also have that curse, or blessing, I felt bad when the pastor lied about me waking up after being dead.

    Or saying a murder, and because he hurt me, he was punished, after I realized where the mystery was emiting from I was drawn back to reality, I abruptly woke up gasping for air, I just solved a case. 

    It was  5am, in the morning, and I couldn't sleep anymore. Kailani and Athena were sleeping, there was light emitting from their bodies, it was actually the first time in three days I have seen such, why are they glowing like they swallowed the mini version of the sun.

       I just solved, one mystery and here is another, knocking at the door, " Reth back to the curse", my subconsciousness warned me, if Kai placed a curse on kailanis head, in a form of protection that means anyone who hurts me might die,and so is his/her generation.

     Maybe the curse just became effective, after I knew some of my purpose on earth, I can't remember anyone who has ever hurt me, and died afterwards.. or has anyone died without me knowing?.

      I was walking down the memory lane, when I remembered my principal died, right after he tried raping me in the school Library, wow does that mean I am responsible for his death!?
