Chapter 44

     I was shocked by my discovery, so for the past sixteen years, I have been a murder weapon, I could swear with my mom's life that through out my life time I won't spill a human blood.

    Little did I know that I have killed a lot of people, who did as little as hurting a weak teenager, thank goodness I barely have friends, or communicate with people.

     This is actually the first time I am proud of myself for barely associating with anyone, I might have reduced the world's population because of a curse placed on a soul that finds peace within me.

      I guess I have more secrets to uncover about myself,and the two goddesses beside me. I would have never thought I would be a babysitter to a goddess, I only imagine myself, in the midst of reasonable people, and maybe learning how to communicate freely.

     " What's the matter Reth" Athena seemed to be awake, same was kailani.. " Why did you wake up?"I really needed to know why, I told them the dream I had, kailani got really sad, I wish I could help her snap out of her delima.

     Kailani doesn't know her birth parents, a mother's love supersedes all, Kailani would have been different if she was held as a child, but I tried explaining to her that it was done to save her. All we need to do is find lady nalu, and lady Mel.

    They were both guided by the goddesses before I was born, Kailani and Athena had no idea why they were glowing so late at night, Kailani said she felt strange,she felt a surge of energy flow through her body.

   While Athena felt more calm, but she glowed more than Kailani, we had to sleep,we had a long day ahead, we would explore limitations of their powers and how their powers can affect things physically.

      I was trying to think of a new strategy to use on both kailani and Athena, since the previous training wasn't a success, I layed on the bed staring at the window. My life has changed more than it should these past few days.

       At 7am that same day, I was left at home alone, as usual, I tidied my room, then headed out, searching for a healthy land and a stream, luckily the pastor confessed so I don't have to stay at home all day.

        I can't ask Peter for help, I surfed the internet and I saw a little river, close to an airport, it would be perfect, it was hidden, and fertile. I got there early, and no one else was there.

     Kailani was anxious, but she couldn't enter the water without my permission, she looked at me, and I gave her a nod, assuring her I was in support, it's the reason we are here anyway.

    She entered the river, and I felt cold creeping into my body. Kailani was glowing, her pink hair was as bright as the sun, it was really a sight for sore eyes, her elegant and majestic looks made her almost look like lady nalu, in a glorious state.

      Kailani stepped deeper into the water, till she was no longer noticeable, then I guess it was time to work on Athena. Athena felt apprehensive about working on herself, actually she thought she wasn't capable.

       She knelt down then dug her hands into the sand, with tight shut eyes, she tried to make something happen, but there was no change.
