Chapter 49

        The day was over, and we had everything planned ahead, Athena and kailani, were mentally prepared for any possible outcome, and so was i, my mom was out,and so was David

      Time to leave, we left the house with no complications. We spent hours asking for a luxurious house that at least had a hint of gold in it, but everyone thought I was crazy.

    Some actually thought it was a prank, and they looked around for cameras, which was very silly, the scorching sun tormented my skin, " sorry Reth, why don't we take a break for today we can try tomorrow" kailani suggested, it sounds like a nice idea.

         We went back home. After the long day, I was very disappointed but I had no other option than to text another day. I got a call from Peter, he sounded angry on the phone.

   " Reth!, Where are you?!" He yelled at me through the phone, where else does he think I would be other than my house, " Reth!!!, I am asking you a goddamn question" he shouted again.

  " I'm at home peter" I replied "who is that man with you?" What is Peter talking about? I haven't seen any other man except pedestrians I saw on the road while asking for directions.

     " Reth, who the hell is that man I saw you with" he asked again, now I know there's a problem, something is not right somewhere, is he accusing me of cheating, I would never cheat on him.

      "Reth, why are you cheating on me?" He asked, ``It must be a prank, this can't be true, Peter please, if it's a prank, stop it, you are hurting me." If he hurts me badly, this is the first time he yelled at me.

        He ended the call, without giving me answers to my question. This can't be right, I need to see him asap. Before the matter escalated, I hurried to Peter's house, luckily no one was around, only peter.

     He was in his room  destroying everything, his clothes were on the floor same with his cupboard, there was broken glass everywhere, I became scared, I have never seen him like this, he was disorganized and angry.

      I got into the room,and he threw a pillow at me, followed by another pillow, then some clothes, "you cheated on me why?!" Why would I cheat on him, who did I cheat on him with, I tried maintaining my distance, so I won't sustain any injury.

       He took his phone, and threw it at me, " watch you shamelessness!"He said, I picked up the phone, I couldn't see any proof of cheating, I only saw a short video of two couples caressing on the couch.

      They were two white couples, who looked old, and obviously married, I am black, young and unmarried. There's nothing other than  flesh and blood that made us similar. Is Peter having a mental breakdown?.

   This is absurd, he can't accuse me of such a thing without proof. I love him dearly, this must be a setup, " Peter, what is the meaning of this?" I said while showing him the video he made me watch.

   " Reth, can't you see your shameless self, without another man, on a couch caressing,why are you acting so innocent even when you were caught in the act" this is a mental disorder peter would never go to such an extent just to prank me.

      I came here, in a hurry while panicking, I almost got hit by a car, all thanks to athena, who called out my name, I crossed a two sided road without looking, because I was lost in thought", 

    He showed me some pictures of a different couple who were definitely asian, they were in a romantic position, which was clearly none of my business, it had nothing to do with his current behavior.

    " Have you started smoking peter, or did you smoke?" I had to ask because the person shouting in front of me is nothing like Peter, Peter can be aggressive, and playful but not weird.

   He showed me another video of two couples having sex, which was obviously taken from a porn site, because they were variety of sex scene including threesome, and foursomes with a asian girl.

    This is just disgusting, why would I have sex, with three guys, I am only sexually attracted to peter at the moment, he iss the only  one that can turn me on, he is the only one I dream of having sex with, he is the only one I want to stay in a romantic position with.

    And he knows that, I tell him every day so why is he making a mountain out of a mole?, I can't take this anymore, I need to leave here asap before I break down in tears. If I did him wrong by loving him wholeheartedly then I am sorry.

     "Reth, are you ok?" Athena asked, well I guess it's obvious I am not ok, my boyfriend over here is accusing me of cheating on him without giving me proof, he continued destroying the room, I can't take this, " peter!!!!" I yelled his name.

    Everything seemed to come to a stop, as I yelled his name, he continued staring at me, like he saw a stranger in his room, he walked over to me, like an angry lion, " how dare you call my name, with your unholy shameless mouth".

    He yelled at me just two feets away from me, I felt hi spit on my face, his actions were frightening, this isn't peter, neither is it a prank, I am dreaming, " kailani, Athena slap me" I said to the goddesses by my side 

    They were lost in the event, " what do you mean Reth?" Athena asked but I couldn't comprehend a thing at this moment. I started slapping myself, every slap harder than the last, I slapped myself till I felt tears coming out of my eyes.

    I didn't stop, even when my cheeks were hurting, this is a nightmare I must wake up
