Chapter 51

 Peter stood up from the bed, he started destroying the things in his room, he picked up his phone and he called me,I could see him fighting with himself.

       As he  screamed my name "reth, why did you break my heart? Why did you cheat on me?!!!!!" He yelled that I could see tears in his eyes. He was heartbroken. Just a kiss made him believe that I left him alone.

     I was brought  back to reality, everything was still frozen. I had no idea on how to stop the powers that possessed peter, if I order Athena to unfreeze time , peter might end up killing me

     I  could only think of one solution which was meeting his friend who betrayed and possessed him with a simple kiss, luckily I knew his house everything I need to do need to be done quick because I won't  want anyone coming into Peter's room and meeting him in such a condition.

      I will be questioned  for an eternity,if anyone walks into the room and sees the currently state of Peter's room, his belt were hanging on the air, and his mouth was wide open, I leaned over as I gave him a kiss on his cheek, " give me the courage I need to fight for you" I said as I walked out of the room.

   Athena and Kailani were right beside me when  I stepped out of the house. I surveyed  the area where no one was present. As usual , I walked to the neighbor's house. It wasn't far from Peter's house.

    Peter's friend seemed to be inside but his parents weren't around, is this a setup? Kailani asked, "it's a Monday morning everyone should be busy" I replied, it is toali normal to.meet an empty house on a Monday morning.

    But stepping into a danger zone might also warrant my death, I almost  got killed by my boyfriend and I couldn't call for help because no one was around. I am stepping into another danger zone because I have to stop my lover from killing me and destroying himself.

      "Hello, anyone around?"  I asked hoping for his friend to answer in  return  "yes I am at home" a  familiar voice replied it was Peter's friend he came out of the house looking at me like he saw a ghost .

     "Rethabile welcome, how are you doing,what brings you to my house?" Well that's an odd question. He possessed my boyfriend and now he's asking why I came for a visit. He must be insane as well. "I came here for revenge, I came here for a solutio, I came here for answers, and I came here seeking for a cure, why did you possess Peter?.

     The look on his face. I knew he was surprised by what I said but I couldn't care less what you did to Peter. I need It reversed", I said in a demanding tone  "rethabile  what are you saying?I didn't process Peter. I haven't seen Peter for a long time now. I traveled and I came back today.

     Are you sure you are  okay? I am sure you are sick, I just got paid my salary and I could take you to the hospital. Is he making a mockery of me? I am talking about a serious issue and is suggesting I go to the hospital if I look mad to him.

         I picked up a slipper  and I hit him with it " do I look mad to you you made Peter believe I cheated on him you possessed him you wicked human" he held my hand firmly like his fist were molded with iron.

      "Reth don't  insult me no matter how lustful I'm over you. I will never make Peter tell lies about you, he knows that, and I think you should be aware of it as well. I wouldn't deny the fact that I love you, I lust over you, and I have been hoping we would be together.

       I would never stoop as low as tarnishing your image in front of Peter because of my jealousy, as I said earlier I am just coming back from a long journey and I deserve rest, he looks innocent but I clearly saw him was the one who killed Peter he had no  twin so what would have happened how do I make this stop.

        I fell to the ground. I couldn't believe what was happening every day. The situation got worse ," Reth  calm down" Athena  said " we will figure this out"Kailani  added, ``How do I calm down when I can see my life crumble before me?

      " RethabileI have waited for you for a long time" a muscular voice said it was nothing familiar I looked up and saw Peter's friend he had an evil smirk on his face, he stood elegantly he doesn't look like the same person i saw few seconds back, he had an intimidating aura.

    " Welcome,  I hope you received my message? This is a warning that you shouldn't embark on missions you can complete. I am giving you a chance to redeem your family and live a normal life like you have always wished for.

   This is nothing like what I expected, am I being threatened?   give up the souls you possess and I will set your lover boy free we will never disturb you ever again just give me your word  and I will give you mine.

          I couldn't comprehend everything I was going on. Athena and Kailani, who stood by my side while fidgeting, were scared because they definitely knew the  demon who stood in front of them was stronger than they ever will be.

       I could see cracks and the skin of the poor human who was possessed he couldn't contain the human body, "reth you will die a mysterious death like your father, if you don't give them up , only you can give the souls out, just give me your word and they will be mine.

   "Then I will never disturb you again but if you prove to be stubborn we will ruin your family and everyone you hold dearly"
