Chapter 52

     "Rethabile imagine living the life you have always wanted, without people having to think that you are mad because you talk to people who doesn't exist, why don't you give them up I will give you riches I will make your mum find love I will give you everything you've ever wanted just let them go

      Just letting them go he repeated his offers weren't enticing. I don't need the riches  nor do I need freedom from him. Athena and Kailani were more like siblings to me. I will never give up my family for wealth .

   Reth you are wiser than this , think about this offer the next time I give you such an offer it might accompany a loss of life. Think about it he said before vanishing, Peter's friend got himself as he stared at me in confusion, weird things were happening.

    Which shouldn't concern him in any way, " Reth  what am I doing here?"He was utterly confused. I left him in his state of confusion, my major concern was Peter. I walked back to his house, luckily his parents weren't back from work yet.

    I worked into Peter's room, he was still frozen,my heart was in my mouth as I unfroze time, everything came back to life, same with Peter, he didn't look angry, like he did , when I left him.

     He looked all over his room in confusion,he looked at his hands, his  belt was tied around his hand, I layed on the door, as tears blurred my vision,  he saw me standing by the door.

    " Reth, what are you doing here ?" I knew he wouldn't hurt me intentionally. He is Peter, my Peter he would never hurt me, I pulled him in for a hug, as he got close to me, " I am sorry" I said, I was solely the reason for his behavior.

      Why?He asked,  he wouldn't understand, how can I tell him I have been causing troubles for him ever since I was born, I was the reason he was taken away from Miss Anna when he was born.

   And now I am the reason he was possessed, he kissed my cheek and I flinched. I had a sore on my lips," he looked at my bruised face, and he was surprised, " did I do this to you?" I couldn't give an answer.

   My throat was sore, due to excess crying, " I am sorry Reth, I don't know what came over me, I don't remember anything, I am sorry" he was fidgeting as he stuttered.

       His room was a mess, we would be in a lot of trouble, if his parents came back to meet such a mess, if I stayed with him all day I would cry the whole day, because my heart was sore.

     I helped him tidy the room, while he took his bath, he apologized a million times but he wasn't to blame, I need to sort things out before it escalates. After the long day, I went back home, I wish I could change everything that happened today .

     I went back home devastated, my prediction were just a waste, I can't predict the things of the spirit, Athena and kailani  weren't happy either,  I knew they had questions they wanted answers to, I ate my dinner in my room, became I couldn't hold the endless stream of tears

     I made sure my mom didn't notice the swollen face and lips, I might get into trouble if I don't think of a suitable answer, I can't tell her I got into her fight neither can I tell her I slapped myself or peter slapped me,there were marks of finger on my face, obviously telling everyone that I was slapped, not once or twice.

     "Reth, I am sorry we caused trouble for you" Athena said she wasn't the only one who should be sorry, I also feel guilty, I was sent down here for a purpose, I sighed disbelief, how do I make things go my way.

     Now my enemies are after me, I can't fall to their feet, I was created differently, I won't bow to them for my freedom, it is my right, I will face any challenge they place before me,even if it involves my life, they need me, in other to get what they want.

      I won't behave like a slave,I am a queen, my inner goddess yelled while holding her staff like a queen that she is. A surge of courage overwhelmed me, I felt the need to fight back, Athena and Kailani aren't going anywhere other than their homes.

      "  We need another plan", I said. Athena and Kailani were pulled from their deep thoughts, we had no leads, but we have made much more progress than expected in the past  few days. We just need to find lady nalu in order to know our next move.

     I sketched  a plan before heading to bed, lord loviator and Hel were after Athena, while kailani's father the king of the sea was after his daughters head, it has been sixteen human years he saw her last, and he is still after her head because he is trying to cover his secrets.

     I have no idea which ones possessed Peter and his friend, because he requested for both Athena and Kailani, " the enemy of my enemy is my Friend" Athena said.

    At first I was confused, but I gave it a second thought. Kailani and Athena had something in common which was enemies, their enemies were powerful gods, so they might come together to get what they want.

    "How can we fight three spiritual being, when we can barely defend ourselves in our day to day life", Kailani said, ``I wasn't convinced that I can be defeated, I love challenges, I will take it as a challenge where the only alternative is winning.

    " I love your spirit Reth" Athena said, but I was born that way, I can't accept defeat, they played their Game, now it's our turn to strike back.
