Chapter 53

      Rise and shine  reth it's a new day, Athena is oddly enthusiastic, this early but seeing her face early in the morning  is a sight to behold, kailani was fast asleep, she whispered something in her sleep.

      In a feeble tone, like she is having a nightmare, who knew goddesses dream, I looked at her innocent face as she slept, her hair was all over her face, Athena and her stared at her for a while until she woke up.

       " Rise and shine seahorse", Athena said as kailani woke up,she woke up frowning it wasn't as fun to her as I was with us, Athena jumped on her Kailani body, moved hurriedly, I fell on my back as I laughed at their childish behavior, they had been in my body since the dawn of time.

     They were already used to each other, " Reth!!, What's so funny" my mom said as she walked into the room, shit, this stuff never gets old, the fear I feel when I am being caught talking to myself,  " I heard a joke mom".... " From?" She replied.

    Where would I tell her I heard the joke from, " your phone'' Athena said, as she fell on her back, " my phone I replied" she wasn't convinced," can I hear the joke ?" She was persistent, I don't keep such in my phone.

    I opened my phone, searched for comedy on YouTube, luckily I found a familiar comedy online all thanks to technology, and Athena, she wanted to be interested in the comedy, she just wanted me to prove it to her that I was laughing at what a comedian said.

     " Come you are following me to the shop" she said, well that's weird, this is the first time  my mom requested my presence in her restaurant, I had no objections to her orders, she's the boss lady anyway.

      I wish my dad was alive, then it would be a good cop bad cop situation, I would run to my dad when my mom is being strict, then run to my mom when my dad's being strict, but I had no option, life provided me with one, thankfully.

    " It's ok Reth" Kailani said as she tapped my shoulder, " we all lost something special to us " , Athena added, well that's true, circumstances brought us together and we would fight to free ourselves.

     Unfortunately all our plans were suspended, till the best day, because my mom comes back late at night, and I can't go looking for lady nalu. By eight o'clock at night,I might be kidnapped, then the kidnapper would definitely die, because he hurt me.

   I haven't forgotten, I am a killing machine, I killed my own principal, " we killed Reth, why do you blame yourself all the time"  Athena said, in a slight frown, but she doesn't need to be angry, they are my responsibility.

     " You are our responsibility too, Reth, we are one," Kailani added. This is the reason I love and cherish them. I never feel different when I am with them. I took my bath with Athena and Kailani running around in the shower.

    Talk of invasion of privacy, I don't have privacy anymore, I brush with them by my side, bathe and dress up with them by my side, luckily they were girls, I have the room all to myself for a month, before my sister comes back from the university.

    Things might get a little bit weird, I dressed up then followed my mom to her shop, it was quite interesting, mostly the aspect of cooking, she had employees now, and her shop had alot of customers now, pain workers won't be a problem.

   At least I won't have to feel pad for not paying my fees, I helped the waitresses serve people food, that's the hectic part of the work, I stared at how people served the customers with so much respect, and I had to emulate them.

      I was told to serve table sixteen, and old woman,who looks like she was in her late Forties,  she looked kind and calm, she also looks familiar, I served her, her food then made attempt to leave before she held me, I felt cold creeping into my body, from head to toe.

    Like I stepped into a pool of ice, "my dear, it's been long I saw you", what does she mean by that, I know her face is familiar but I can't remember when I saw her, or where l saw her, " Reth, kailani, Athena" he said when a slight smile on her face.

   I was shocked, how does she know about Kailani and Athena? She might be a little bit spiritual, but knowing their names means she knows their past, " how are doing?" She asked, " we are fine, '' I replied, my legs were shivering, in fear that she was a demon.

     Or has she been possessed? , She looks nice,  she spoke calming, she still held my hands firmly, " no worries, girl it will be over soon" she said before she started eating, I couldn't say anything, Athena and Kailani kept looking at her,none of them knew who she was.

     " She was possessed" Athena said, she is more into the things of the spirit than kailani, " Reth come over here!!" My mom yelled out into the crowd, everyone turned to where I stood.

      I didn't have the opportunity to ask who she was or why she possessed a human. I walked back to my mom. In disappointment, I really wanted to know who she was.

       The day went on, it was fun. I interacted  with the workers. Some of them discriminated against me because of their superstitious belief that I was possessed, but others interacted with me freely.

     The day was over and I headed back home, I hope I don't have to follow my mom to her restaurant tomorrow, I need to find lady nalu before lord loviatar or hel possess another person close to me, it would be disheartening
