Chapter 59

    I hoped she might actually do something to help, Athena and I waited patiently for something to happen, maybe she could stop the rain, or better still prevent the destruction of things we chose to find shelter in .

        Soon I could no longer feel the rain, but I could hear thunderous sound.I looked up and I was shielded by Kailani, but we were struck by lightning several times. She winced in pain, I was hurting her.

     The rain became heavier, we were beaten intentionally, they really wanted to make life hell for us, kailani hands were held high, her eyes weren't open, she was glowing, I could barely open My eyes afraid of getting blind.

    I could only hear the deafening sound of thunder, over my head. If Kailani stopped we might be smithed by the thunder. She winced again, her eyes were shut tight, Athena and I stood very. Lose to each other .

    She couldn't use any of her powers she learnt inside the shield. Kailani was protecting us from both inside and outside. She winced again and I felt some drop of rain inside. The shield is breaking and I need to act fast.

      It's really taking A Lot from her, since supernatural powers can't work. Maybe I could try something, I was the one being chased, so maybe I should give myself up, if they continue protecting me, their entire environment might be destroyed.

    I needed to drag her out of her current state, I hurriedly dragged her, she was pinned to the floor, I could see the  ground split right beneath her feet, the great force from the lightning and rain were pushing her to the ground.

      " Athena, come!!Help me drag her!!" I yelled for Athena's help, she was panicking, she barely heard what I said, I could see black fluid coming out of kailani's nose, I don't want her to die now, with squinted eyes, I dragged her, I was accompanied by Athena.

    We pulled her out, and she fell to the ground. There was a loud bang and I lost consciousness, everything went blank, I couldn't hear anything.

  " Wake up!!"A voice said to me, I opened my eyes and I was almost blinded by light, I squinted my eyes, looking at the large crowd before me. What happened?Looking around  I saw a lot of people before me, some were taking pictures.

       A woman held me, as she supported me with her body, I was weak, the last thing I remembered was dragging Kailani from her trance, and then there was a big bang before I lost control, I guess I fainted . I wasn't smittened by the lightning.

     Where's kailani and Athena?, I said out loud, "my dear who's kailani and Athena?" , The nice lady said, she looked worried, I can't explain to her who they were, or what they are, " nothing ma" I said, she sighed.

       I looked at the crowd trying to look for my mom, I couldn't find anyone, not even Peter or Miss Anna, are they still possessed?I looked beside me. Athena and Kailani were nowhere to be found, were they taken by their enemies.

     No that's Impossible, they can't be taken unless I allow them to take her away, and I didn't allot that, I vividly remember, Athena helped me drag Kailani away from her trance, I looked around and everything was in a perfect condition.

   The shop that was destroyed by the lightning was in perfect condition, the roads were so dry, almost hot,like it hadn't rained in centuries,the clouds looked beautiful,and happy, not moody like it was when everything was threatened by the rain.

   I looked at the woman behind me," how long did I sleep?", I asked as she looked at me,with a worried expression," you didn't sleep you only fell then I woke you up" she said as she checked my head for an unknown reason.

     Seriously, she can't be saying the truth,there was a great pour on the earth and she is saying I fell, I was struck by lightning,I am lucky to be alive," my dear,I know you are facing a lot in your life,after waking up on the day of your burial" she said .

     I looked at her, she looked genuine, but what did she think happened to me? I am seriously telling her that there was a thunderstorm, " ma, explain what you saw me doing" I said firmly, I have no time for sympathy.

      " My dear, she was talking in the middle or road,you were performing a weird activity, then you pretended you were dragging something or someone, you were shouting then you fell and then I hurriedly came to wake you up".

    Wow, I looked at the lady behind me, she wasn't lying, she must be telling the truth, am I   hallucinating, I felt my clothes wet, I was under the rain, I heard the deafening sound of thunder, I saw things destroy.

   " My dear, what were you doing in the middle of the road?, She asked with a caring tone, she might think I am mad, " I was under the rain, and I was threatened by lightning, I almost got killed" I said to her, hoping she would tell me, I said the truth and she was lying.

    She smiled a little, but stopped  immediately when she saw I wasn't laughing along, " are you serious?" She asked, I ached a brow,"  do I look like I  am telling lies, the shop over there was struck by lightness,but if looked fixed" I said as I pointed at the shop opposite me.

    She looked at the shop, her frown came back, "the shop has been open since 7am this morning, you made an attempt to enter it but you ran back, how did lightning strike it ?" She asked.

   This doesn't make any sense, I saws that shop Break,same with the other one, by the side, I looked at the shop it was in a perfect condition, now no one will believe I am not mad
