Chapter 58

"Seriously!," I yelled this goddesses were having the best time of their lives right now,I don't know if u should look at them or my already pissed mom, who looks like the back of a pot

  Oh Athena, and Kailani, both of you will fall I love one day, and I will laugh when things aren't going well for you, I said as I folded my arms,they can be so annoying, " it's not our fault, you muted us" kailani said as she stood up, " don't be angry Reth, sometimes it's good to laugh" Athena added.

    They were perfect at apologizing, " seriously, I guess we were late" my mom said, she was very worried, my attention was shifted back to them," I almost fainted when I entered the room" , Miss Anna added," they were both kissing each other so romantically,I haven't kissed my husband that way" miss Anna said .

     " Mummy!"Peter yelled,she didn't have to give the details to my mom, at least she didn't tell my mom I was half naked,with only my pants and bra, "what?!,Miss Anna answered,they were enjoying our torment, I can't stay here.

   I stood up,then took permission from my mom before going inside, Athena and Kailani followed me as usual,to the bathroom I washed my No

face,then I walked out of the bathroom,with my towel above my head .

    "Have you thought of my offer?" A familiar yet frightening  voice said, I froze at the spot," rethabile, have you thought of my offer?" I couldn't see who it was, " you are playing with your life" the unknown voice said, it must be one of these demons.

     " I won't listen to you, and theres is no offer to consider'' I said confidently, Athena and kailani trusted me, they know I won't betray them because of a mere threat," Reth, for the last time give them up" the demon said, I could only see black mist.

    " There's nothing to consider" I said again, my mind was made up, I know the demons can't be trusted, neither will I sacrifice innocent souls, just for silly promises I could easily accomplish, I can't get my freedom if I want to, and my mom can find love, true love not the love given by the devil. 

      The dark mist passed through the door, I feared what might happen next, but I promised to help Athena and Kailani get back home. I also confronted an ancient demon, so I should expect a huge payback.

     I heard a knock on the door, it was my mom knocking like she was going to break the door down, " Reth, you useless child, come out!" She yelled, I instantly knew she was possessed, she must be possessed, it has been sixteen years and my mom hasn't knocked on my door that hard, even when she was angry with me .

      " Time to face our fear" Athena said, I flinched when I thought of how badly I was beaten the first time, by Peter, and now my mom might beat me again, or worse, " Reth you cursed child!" She yelled again.

       I opened the door slowly, she pushed it forcefully, which pushed me to the floor, she picked me up with one of her hands, jeez, when they are possessed they gain extraordinary strength, she threw me out of my room.

   Then I heard noises of clothes, she is packing my clothes, why? Am I traveling?What's the reason for her anger? There must be a reason to be angry, even If they were possessed, " useless child get out of my house!" She said as she threw my bags out of the room as well.

   ``Oh jeez, this is the worst, should I tell her to stop?" Athena said, ``I looked at her in amusement, it's a perfect idea, " Go ahead" I replied. Athena walked to my mom's ears and whispered," you were never angry," she said. My mom froze for a second," you!" She replied.

    She walked over to me, in a scary manner like she would devour me, " I curse the day you were born" she said as she caught up with me, then slapped me on my left cheek then my right, I felt pain all over, she threw me to the Parlour, I saw miss Anna and Peter, they weren't affected by anything that was going on.

    They must be possessed as well. I ran towards Peter, yanked his clothes several times, but he held me by my neck then pushed me away,I fell on Miss Anna's body, she pushed me away, " you witch" she said in disgust.

    Oh no, this is bad, Kailani was pacing around,. Reth, I don't know what to do,our powers are making it worse" she said as she walked up to my mom, to read her mind, it made her more violent. My bag was thrown outside, " get out and never come back!" My mom said as she threw my bags outside.

     It began to rain, unfortunately at the worst timing, " never want to see you!" She said, now I am homeless, and I need shelter to prevent myself from getting sick, I have no time to cry, I saw a store, I walked towards the store, and immediately I got Close to the store lightning struck on the store.

    It shattered, oh my goodness, "we are being hunted" Kailani said, let's give it another try" Athena said, I saw another store close by, I thought of staying under till the rain stopped and immediately it was struck by lightning.

         It is confirmed that we are being hunted, " kailani can you do something?" Kailani has more power under the water, so she would have power under the rain, "we need shield, try doing something", " think of something" Athena yelled, her voice not audible because of the thunderous sound of the rain.

     Kailani closed her eyes ,and her hair started to glow,they were longer and almost floating,her clothes were shining.
