Chapter 140

    " Peter you are hugging a ghost", she said as she threw the bucket away, I couldn't help but giggle at their funny reactions, " mom, you can see her?" Peter asked as realization struck him, I am not an image in his head.

     "Reth, is that you?" Peter asked as he moved backward, my heart sank, as tears left my eyes, ''yes" I said In a whisper, it felt like Sade was invisible even when he was standing behind me.

     My mom brought me close, I could see tears in her eyes, her lost daughter is back, she pulled me close to her, finally she hugged me, I miss her so much, I hugged her back, peter hugged me as well 

     " You must be the person who saved her" my mom said as she drew Sade close to her, he only smiled and hugged her back, there's something are isn't telling me, I looked beside me, Athena and kailani were lost in the moment 

       My mom took over from Sade as she pulled me inside, David was nowhere to be found, he must be hiding in his room, nothing had changed, everything was in place, except my presence, looking at my mom and Peter they really lost weight.

     The joy in their eyes was no longer there, " Rethabile, where have you been?" My mom asked as she knelt before me caressing my face, how do I tell her I just came back from Greece, and I was in the land of the spirit, and also the land of the dead.

    Very funny, they will think I came back with a mental disorder, " with him mom" I said pointing at Sade, who was taken unaware, he was staring at the structure of the house.It isn't big, but it's not small either.

     We spent the whole day explaining things that didn't happen, so they wouldn't get confused. Peter and I spent quality time together, though I could sense the way he restrained himself, he still felt I had some mental issues.

       Luckily Kailani and Athena were normal the whole day, they didn't disturb, Sade was in his best behavior, my mom cried over Andover again, till there were no tears left to cry, if only she knows that I will be gone again, till we meet again.

    I might not be alive to witness anything, I might not see my children or Peter when he grows old, " rethabile my child, please don't leave us again" my mom said, as she hugged me, she had called all our relatives and family friends.

      Informing them that I am back, Which made compelling them more hard, now they would be confused when people tell them that I was back, and they become sad because they don't remember. I could see the joy in her eyes.

     Her lost daughter is back, " do you know that some people said I killed you?" My mom was sad and my eyes almost popped out. Why would people say that, my mom would never kill her own child, not even for money.

    People and their evil thoughts, well all the same it was nice seeing them, and thank goodness they aren't possesed, I was given a little chance to stay with my family, my mom prepared food for me, and I couldn't help but clean my plate.

    I miss her food for much, I could eat it over and over again, till there's nothing left in the pot to eat, I felt at home in a very long time, finally something crept into my mind, '' mom dad said I should tell your that he still loves you even in death" I said and tears fell out of my eyes.

    First she was Confused, until she saw the stream of tears in my eyes, I knew she didn't believe me but I won't be at peace if I don't tell her, I just want her to feel loved again, even me. It's the last time

     " She nodded, I knew she felt it, " I love him too" she said, then she hugged me tightly, my sister and elder brother came back from school just to see their lost sister, in no time everywhere was full, I was smiling but my heart was pounding.

    There's presence will bring more trouble than joy, but I can't tell them to leave. It was already late and some neighbors had gone,same with relatives, it was time to go,I will be going to South Africa next tomorrow.

      And I don't want any delay, I want it all to be over, u was given back my old room, hmm I missed the scent of polished wood, my small bed must have missed my body so much, I caressed my bed sheet, just a little time and it will be over.

    Sade was in my brother's room, and Athena and Kailani were in my room, I still didn't feel free talking to them, mostly about my weird revelation concerning them, "reth, I know that you are thinking of something odd," Athena said .

      She understands me more, maybe I should tell her, but will I be considered a fool, I stood up from the bed, ignoring them, then I went to my mom's room, to have a proper rest without disturbance, luckily she didn't push me away..

    Instead she brought me close to her body," welcome" she said, a typical African mother would never pull her child close to her unless something painful happens, and I knew my mom would pull me close .

    I could sense someone's presence in the room, I knew it wasn't Athena or kailani, a much more stronger spirit was in the room, I didn't want to know who it is, but I know I am not safe, " think about it" I heard in my head, and my heart skipped.
