THE JOB INTERVIEW

"Who let such a cutie in the street alone, it’s my first time seeing a child." Lucinda said, smiling from ear to ear.

When a car drove in their direction and stopped, the driver stuck his head out of the car.

"Next time, watch where you are going crazy, lady." he said, talking to Lucinda.

Lucinda tried to attack him, but Medusa held her back.

"Who does he think he is to speak to me like that." Lucinda became enraged.

"Don’t let him get to you. Humans tend to use offensive words sometimes." Medusa said, and they continued walking.

"I am easily annoyed, I always thought the earth was my dreamland, but these humans are all so strange and abusive." she muttered 

Minutes later 

They arrived home, and Medusa ordered food for them. They eat and go to bed.

The next day, Lucinda woke up early, took her bath, and stylishly packed her hair. She put on a black suit and sat next to Medusa on the bed.

"Wake up, sleepy head, I am hungry." she said.

"Go away, just dial 201 on the phone and order food yourself." Medusa scoffed.

                                            Lucinda's Point of View

I walked to the phone and grabbed it,  I dialed the number and it started ringing.

"Hello, good morning, miss." the person greeted

"Good morning. I want food delivered to my room now." I stated.

"What is the name of the food you would like to order?"

"All the types of food you have." I said and hung up.

Come to think of it I don’t know the name of any food, I feel like a newborn baby in this human world, I need a human to teach me their ways, but I haven’t made any friends here apart from Medusa.

Suddenly, different maids entered our house, dropping countless amounts of food on the table. They finished arranging the food and turned to me.

"Ma, that will be 2,000 dollars." she said, and I gasped.

I took Medusa's purse and brought out two bills.

"Take." I handed it to her.

"Thanks for the tip, ma." she said, smiling widely, and walked out.

What’s tip? Anyway, I started eating, tasting all the food, I finished eating and cleaning my mouth, I left a small amount of food for Medusa. I know she knows I have a big appetite,  I took another piece of money from her purse and walk out of the house, shutting the door behind me.

I entered a taxi and arrived at the building. I stepped out of the taxi, paid the taxi fee, and he handed me another bill. Is this human being dumb, I took the money and put it in my bag, staring at the building.

I walked to the security

"Who are you? Do you have an appointment here?" He asked.

"No, but I am here for the interview." I said, and he looked at a book in his hand and looked up at me.

"But your face is not on the list." he said, and I tried to enter the company and he pushed me out.

I tried again, and he pushed me out. I walked away from the company and became invisible; I entered the building and hid behind a wall, becoming visible; and I saw a large crowd forming and I joined them.

"I had no idea such lovely ladies existed." employee beamed.

Is he talking about me? 

I waited for a thousand years, and finally, it was my turn.

"Good morning, miss, have a seat." I sat, and he smiled at me.

"Can I have your CV?" He asked and I took it out of my bag and gave it to him. He took it from me and looked at my CV.
