GETTING A CV

"Here you go, my queen who bullies her servant." Medusa remarked

"I don’t bully you, do I?" Lucinda asked, and they both walked out of the house and entered a taxi.

Minutes later

They both arrived at the cafe, and Lucinda walked in, grabbing the attention of everyone present in the cafe.

"She is such a beauty." They murmured.

They both walked towards a guy at the reception.

"How may I help you, ladies," he asked.

"My girl here wants a CV real quick." Medusa beamed

"Okay, miss, go and meet that guy over there. He will make one for you." he said, pointing at a guy operating a

computer in a corner of the cafe.

Lucinda walked to the guy and Medusa followed her.

She put her hair in front and sat beside the guy, staring at the computer screen.

"What’s this?" she asked, pointing at the computer.

"It is called a computer." the guy replied, looking at her in a weird way.

"How may I help you?" he asked, avoiding her gaze.

"I want you to make me a CV?" She replied.

"Why don’t you do it yourself online and come here for the print out?" he asked.

"Oh online, I never thought of that. Now that I am here, just make me one." she replied.

"Okay," he opened a document and started asking her questions while." Medusa just sat starring at them.

"Your full name miss not your first name." he said, pissed.

"My name is-is Lucinda Lucinda Lucinda....

"Blake." Medusa cut in.

"Yes, Lucinda Blake." she said, and he narrowed his eyes at her and fill in the information.

"Do you have any working experience?" he asked.

"Yes, I used to work as a gardener back in hell." she beamed, and the guy burst into laughter.

"Nice one," he says, still laughing.

"What’s funny?" she asked and he smiled.

He finished making the CV and printed it out for her.

"Nice working with you, miss. That will be 200 dollars." he said, giving her the paper.

"200 dollars. Isn’t that too expensive?" Lucinda asked

"It's not expensive. You gave me a lot of stress, I even calculated your age, so you have to pay up." he broadcast.

"Here is your money." Medusa said, handing him the money, and they both walked out of the cafe, with Lucinda still staring at the CV.

"CV." she said, lifting it in the air.

"Let’s go." Medusa said, "walking.

"Aren’t we going to take a taxi?" Lucinda asked

"Let's walk home, and besides, we need to save money." Medusa grinned.

"But I will start working tomorrow." Lucinda stated.

"I know you will, but humans pay monthly." Medusa said.

"So you mean they will work for days without getting paid, humans life is damn hard." Lucinda said, walking with Medusa.

They both walked slowly down the road, and Lucinda saw a child trying to cross the street, and she ran to the child and carried him trying to cross the road, and a car started approaching them,

Lucinda held the child and closed her eyes while the car approached them. The child looked at Lucinda with sweat forming on his forehead. Medusa ran after them and dragged Lucinda and the child out of the way.

"You are scared of cars and you want to help this child." Medusa said, leaving the child.

"Thank you for saving my life, miss." The child told Medusa and ran away.
