Sacred water

"All the finger prints we found in this house belong to him. None of them were the killer’s." Mr Louis replied.

"Or maybe the killer used a handkerchief to open every door in the house, so what do you think the conclusion is based on all of this information?" Ralph asked

"I think we can’t find the culprit. I'm sorry. We tried our best, but the killer is an evil mastermind." Mr Louis remarked.

"Fuck!!" Ralph cursed, hitting the table with his hand.

"Aren’t you guys the federal bank inspectors? why can’t you find the culprit." Lucinda asked

"we are, but not all cases, we can find the murderer." He stated and Ralph glare at him

"This is bad, I couldn’t do justice to Mr Jones. You can go now." Ralph said, bowing his head in disappointment.

Mr Louis looked at Ralph in a weird way. Ralph raised his head and his gaze landed on Mr Louis.

"What? Are you still here?" he inquired bluntly.

"Just because we couldn’t find the culprit doesn’t mean you won’t pay us for our services." Mr Louis said, and Ralph looked at him with his eyebrows slightly raised.

"I beg your pardon?" Ralph stated

"You have to pay up." He repeated confidently.

"How much is your fee? Mail me your account number." Ralph stated, walking to the window with his hands folded behind his back.

Mr Louis stole a glance at Lucinda and folds something into her hand and walked out quickly.

"What did he give you?" Ralph inquired, looking outside the window.

"I don’t know." Lucinda said, looking at the paper in her hand.

"Give it to me, let me see." Ralph said, and she handed him the paper. He looked at it and smirked.

"it’s a business card, don’t mind that man whore." Ralph remarked and burn the paper into ashes in his hand.

"So Lucinda, what are you planning to do today?" he inquired.

"I have got something, that will make me identify if Barbie is possessed or not?" she replied

"What is that?" he asked, raising a brow, and she walked to her office and took something out of her bag while Ralph stared at her. She walked up to him and put the bottle in his face, and his jaw dropped.

"Are you kidding me?" he said, trying not to laugh.

"You can laugh all you want, but I assure you this is no ordinary water. It’s sacred water. She stated, and he looked at her.

"If it’s so rare, how did you get it? He asked with raised eyebrows.

"someone gave it to me." She replied and he take it from her looking at it.

"So how does it work, how is it going to help you know if she is possessed or not?" he inquired

"I will have to spill the water on the floor and if the water turns red that means she has been possessed." She stated.

"Fascinating." He said, stroking his chin.

"So when are you thinking of trying it on her?" he asked bluntly.

"Today, at our lunch break," she muttered.
