"That means we won’t eat together anyway. Good luck." He said handling the bottle to her. She took it from him and walked to her seat.
Ralph started looking at the x-ray on the table and set it ablaze, and the ashes fell on the floor, Lucinda’s eye drifted to him.
"Sir, why did you burn it?" she inquired.
"He couldn’t find the culprit, so this is literally useless," he replied.
Lucinda nodded and walked out of the office to Barbie’s office. She saw Barbie pressing something on her computer. She walked to her desk and Barbie gazed at her.
"Oh you are here, come sit." She said, offering her a chair beside her.
"I was wondering, if we could eat together at our lunch break." Lucinda beamed.
"Yes we can, but I have a lot of demons on the loose." She said, operating the computer.
"What do you mean by "demon on the loose?" Lucinda asked.
"Demons are torturing humans." She replied.
"That’s odd," Lucinda mumbled, leaning to look at the computer.
Barbie closed the computer quickly and turns to Lucinda.
"Let’s go," she muttered.
"Where to?" Lucinda asked
"To eat on the rooftop." Barbie offered.
"Are we allowed to go to the rooftop?" Lucinda asked softly.
"Yes we are," she replied.
"Wait here, I have to go grab something," Lucinda said, walking out of the office, and Barbie walked out of the office with other employees.
Lucinda ran to the office and rushed to her desk. She grabbed the bottle from her bag and turned to look at Ralph, who is gazing at her.
"Are you guys going to have lunch already?" he inquired, and she nodded and walked out of the office.
Lucinda entered the elevator going to the rooftop, and Barbie ran into the elevator with her holding two bottles of wine and a plastic bag that seems to be full of snacks.
"Why do you want us to go to the rooftop?" Lucinda inquired.
"It’s peaceful there, and quiet, and the air there is just amazing." She beamed with a toothy smile and pressed the elevator button.
They both arrived at the rooftop. It was filled with air and was spacious. They walked to the balcony and the air kept blowing their hair in the air.
"You see what I mean." Barbie said, lifting her face with her eyes closed as the wind blew through her hair.
"It’s really nice." Lucinda beamed, and Barbie handed her a bottle of wine.
"I don’t drink alcohol," Lucinda said, lifting her upper lip in disgust.
"Just try it." Barbie extended the wine to her, and Lucinda sighed and took it from her, holding it in her left hand.
Barbie opened her bottle and took a sip. She looked at Lucinda in a weird way, using her eyes to tell her to open her wine.
Lucinda opened her bottle and looked at Barbie.
"Drink it." Barbie commanded, looking at Lucinda.
"Don’t force me to drink. Drinking is not for me." Lucinda lamented, holding the wine close to her mouth.
