The test

"Don’t force me to drink. Drinking is not for me." Lucinda lamented, holding the wine close to her mouth.

"It’s not alcoholic. Taste it and, trust me, you will like it. " Barbie assured. Lucinda closed her eyes and poured the wine into her mouth. She looked at Barbie and held the wine in her mouth, making her cheek full.

"Swallow it." Barbie muttered. And Lucinda swallowed it and screwed up her face.

"It’s not that bad, is it?" Barbie inquired. Lucinda used her handkerchief to clean her tongue continuously.

"It’s bitter, I shouldn’t have listened to you." Lucinda whined.

"Take use this to suppress the bitterness, Barbie said handing her a snack with a blue cover, Lucinda took it from her and began eating it while looking out the balcony window. Lucinda joined her, eating and drinking the wine.

Barbie leaned on the balcony too, staring at the sky, and Lucinda looked at her with side eyes and brought out the sacred water from her hair. She made sure Barbie wasn't seeing her. She opened the bottle and levitated it, spilling the water all over the floor, behind them, so if Barbie stepped one foot back, she would cross the water.

Barbie turn on the balcony facing front and Lucinda dropped the bottle immediately and it broke and shattered on the floor, Barbie's eyes widened as she noticed the broken bottle and the wet floor. She started sniffing the air with her nose.

"I think I'm full. Let’s go back." Lucinda beamed, smiling from ear to ear.

"No, you go. I will be right behind you." Barbie muttered, trying not to cross the water.

"Come on, Ladies first." Lucinda muttered.

"Are you kidding me? We are both ladies." Barbie replied with a smirk.

"I will wait here, till you want to go." Lucinda said, relaxing on the balcony.

They both stay there for a long time, staring at each other without saying anything. no one was trying to leave. Barbie broke the silence.

"I think they are going to fire us for being here." Barbie mumbled, looking at Lucinda with side eyes. Lucinda narrowed her eyes at her and smirked.

" I will get going then, I don’t want my boss to get angry at me for no  reason." Lucinda said striving to leave and grab Barbie’s hand violently trying to get her to cross the sacred water, Barbie was struggling with Lucinda it was like she knew that the water wasn’t an ordinary water. She gnashed her teeth and glare at Lucinda with her eyes burning with fury. Barbie responded with equal force.

They clawed at each other, Barbie curled her hand into a fist and aimed for the front of Lucinda’s nose. Her fist hit the bridge of her nose. And blood splattered all over the ground. Missing with the sacred water, Lucinda was surprised. She put her hand on her nose and looked at the blood. She was determined to get Barbie to cross the scared water, Lucinda went down to Barbie’s leg and held her legs.
