"I can’t believe you guys didn’t even check the CCTV footage before coming to arrest me." Ralph said, with his lips pursed tightly together.
"We thought you might have something to do with his death, since you disappeared after his death," the man remarked, and Lucinda glared at him.
"Lucinda, give me your phone." Ralph said, extending his hand to Lucinda, and she looked at his hand.
"Give me your phone," he repeated, and she put her phone in his hand.
"I am calling my lawyer, you will have to speak to my lawyer from now on." Ralph shrugged, putting the phone in his ear.
"No-no, don’t call your lawyer, let's talk things out." The man pleaded, and Ralph glared at him and put down his hand.
"So can I go home now?" Ralph inquired, with his eyebrows slightly raised.
"We will let you go once you help our artist get an image of the killer." He stated Ralph give Lucinda her phone.
"Is that all?" Ralph inquired.
"Yes." He nodded and Ralph followed him to his office, followed by Lucinda.
He offered them a seat in his office, and they both sat quietly staring at him.
And a man walked in carrying a sketch pad. He looked around, and he sat beside Ralph.
"So what does the killer look like?" the artist asked, and Ralph started explaining while Lucinda put her hand on her jaw and started staring at Ralph as he started describing Barbie to the artist.
Ralph explained something to the artists and did some finishing touches after the artist finished sketching and showed it to him.
They all stood in front of the chair, and the man turned to face Ralph.
"We are sorry for the inconvenience…. The man paused and looked at the sketch pad in a weird way.
"Are you sure this is what you saw?" he asked bluntly.
"Yes." Ralph replied confidently.
"Alright, thanks for your help," the man said, and Ralph looked at Lucinda and grabbed her hand. He walked with her out of the station.
As soon as they reach the outside, Lucinda pulled her hand away from his grip.
"What’s wrong?" he inquired, raising a brow and she chuckled and twisted her mouth .
"Have you forgotten what you did to me yesterday, I will never forget." She stated, with pouted lips, walking ahead of him. And he ran after her.
"Lucy, please forgive me, I was angry, that’s all." He pleaded, and she stopped and stared at him before continuing to walk away.
"Stop being like this, Lucy, you came looking for me and you are giving me an attitude." He stated, and she halted and stared at him.
"Don’t get me wrong, if it was just me, you wouldn’t see me here, Deacon, ask me to look for you." She stated, rolling her eyes.
"Okay, sorry, please forgive me, I can’t stand you being angry at me." He beamed and hastened her footsteps.
He watched her go.
