She was thirsty and needed something to drink. This place is smelly and cold, and there is no one here but me and Lucinda.
Maybe they don’t have criminals in this kingdom.
"Ralph, we need to find Queen Luna." Lucinda mumbled, looking at me. For the first time, I am not offended that she calls me by my first name.
"Yes, we need to look for her, but how can we when we are here?" I asked bluntly and she gulped.
"I can’t believe Apedes betrayed us, what does he have to gain by putting us here?" she inquired.
"I don’t know, but we need to find a way out of here, I can’t believe I, of all people, can’t teleport." I whined and pulled her closer to me.
I held her in my arms. She didn’t resist; she was just calm in my hand as I held her. Inhaling her fresh flowery scent. We have been trying to kill Queen Luna since yesterday, and it’s not easy. I am also cold. Maybe we can warm up each other before we find our way out of here.
"Ralph, do you think we will be able to get out of here?" she asked bluntly.
"Of course," I replied.
"You have no power, and we don’t know what these people are going to do to us." She whined.
"Just have some rest, we will think about this tomorrow." I said, and everywhere started to get dark.
"I want to go home, I don’t like this world." She remarked.
"Me neither." I replied and she put her head in my chest i closed my eyes.
I don’t have any intention of sleeping in his place anymore. I must be vigilant. I dragged Lucinda with me and rested my head on the wall.
Author’s POV
Apedes walked into the castle and walked to the king's chamber. He knocked on the door.
"Come in." the king ordered.
"Your majesty, I have captured them." He stated.
"Good, so what do you think we should do next?" the king inquired.
"I will have to go and ask our magician what we should do next, we need to know if they are a threat to our kingdom." He remarks.
"Alright, do that tomorrow." The king said and Apedes walked out of his chambers when Princess Kiros stalked him in front of the room as he closed the door. He sighted her and gasped.
"What are you doing here so late at night, my princess?" he inquired.
"I wanted to ask you why you refused to allow those creatures to leave?" she asked bluntly.
"You won’t understand, my princess, you are too nice and naive." He remarked
"What do you mean, I'm too nice? If you wanted to capture them, why did you entertain them in the first place?" she demanded angrily.
"Because I wasn’t sure of what to do at that time." He whined.
"I want you to free them." She stated, and his eyes widened.
"Why, my princess, I am not going to free them, I think they are a threat to us." He whined.
Will they be able to escape?
