Helpless

"I will call the cops on them, let's go quickly I have a feeling that they will move out of here very soon because we know their hide out, I didn't know what she did to them that they wanted her." He grumbled. She put her hand on his shoulder.

"I know it must have been hard for you to choose between your sister and your lover." She muttered.

"It is hard, my dear." He lamented.

"What are you two still doing there? Get out!!" They heard someone's voice from behind and took to their heels.

They ran to Nathan's car and rushed inside.

"Isn't it wrong to steal someone else's car? How did you get the key though?" She inquired.

"The boss gave it to me to use to look for my lover." He stated.

"Hurry up and go!!" She yelled.

He ignited the engine and drove off at full speed.

"Do you know anyone that can help you apart from the cops?" She inquired.

"I don't know anyone like that why do you ask?" He inquired.

"Because you won't be able to save her alone." She muttered.

"Hmm, that makes sense. I think I should ask her boyfriend for help. He will get furious, but it's for her safety. We are not that best of friends." He muttered.

"So she has a boyfriend?" She inquired.

"Yes, my love is just one-sided." He mumbled, looking down.

"It's okay as long as she is saved, and I bet you, after this, she might start to like you. Never give up." She beamed.

"How can she fall in love with me when I am the one who turned her in the first place?" He inquired.

"Once she knows your reason, she will forgive you." She assured

Medusa finished bathing and sat on the bed, pressing her phone, wearing a red pajama that belonged to Lucinda.

After chatting with Hudson for a few minutes, they both told each other good night. She relaxed on the bed and used the blanket to cover herself when she stared at the time.

It was 2:00am and Lucinda still wasn't at home. She was getting worried as she got up from the bed and opened the drawer. She put on a fur coat and dialed Lucinda's number, but her phone was ringing on top of the drawer.

"Damn it, she left her phone at home." She cursed.

"I wonder where that human took her, I don't even know where they went." She lamented as she tossed her phone on the bed and rushed outside the house.

She looked around the house but there was no sign of Lucinda. She ran down the stairs to the main area of the building but there was no one there. Everyone had gone to sleep. It was only the security guard at the entrance.

She walked over to him.

"Have you seen my sister?" He asked.

"I have seen her since she left with a guy in a car a few hours ago." He replied.

"Car? So they went in a car, something is not right." She muttered, stroking her chin.
