"How did this old hag know we were here?" Ralph muttered, narrowing his eyes at him.
"I don't know either. Maybe he just decided to come to your company." Lucinda muttered.
"How did he know? Here he doesn't know anything about me." Ralph reasoned.
"Hand over the statue." Mr Maxwell yelled, pointing a gun at Ralph's head.
Ralph put his hand up with a devious smile on his face.
"You can have it." Ralph stated, smiling, that he wouldn't be able to carry the statue.
"Are you sure?" Mr Maxwell interrogated bluntly.
"Yes, do I have a choice?" Ralph Inquired.
Mr Maxwell walked closer to the statue, still pointing the gun at Ralph's head.
He held the gun in his left hand and brought out his phone to call his goons.
"Wait, how did you know I might be here?" Ralph inquired as he put the phone in his ear.
"I did a background check on you, silly." Mr Maxwell snarled.
"Hello." He muttered as his goon finally picked up the call.
"I want you to bring a truck to the address." He declared and hung up, still pointing the gun at Ralph's head.
"What are you doing? Are you planning to give him the statue?" Lucinda whispered.
"I know what I am doing. Don't worry." Ralph replied.
"So are you going to hold us at gunpoint till your goons come?" Lucinda inquired.
"I am ready to do anything to get the statue." Mr Maxwell replied.
Lucinda stared at him and smirked.
"I will get going since none of this is my business." Lucinda said and flipped her hair, attempting to go.
"Hey! Stop there." Mr Maxwell said diverting the gun to her.
"Don't try to play games with me. Stand back with your boyfriend." Mr Maxwell declared.
Lucinda screwed up her face and walked to Ralph. She held his right arm.
Minutes later.
A big truck parked in front of the company. Two of Mr Maxwell's goons ran out of the truck and opened the back of the truck.
"How are they going to carry it?" Lucinda scoffed.
They dragged out a big wheel from the back of the truck and started pushing it towards the statue.
"Good boys now try to put the statue in the wheel." Mr Maxwell declared.
The goons held the statue, trying to push it into the wheel. Ralph and Lucinda stared at them, trying to hold back laughter.
"What are you guys doing?" Mr Maxwell asked angrily, staring at his goons who were struggling to lift the statue.
"I will take it from here." Ralph said, and twisted Mr Maxwell's hand to take the gun from him.
He pushed the goons away from the statue and teleported with them to the inside of the truck.
"Where is the statue?" Mr Maxwell asked, confused, looking around with his goons.
He ran to Lucinda.
"Where did your boyfriend go with my gold?" he demanded.
Lucinda smirked. "I have been wanting to do this for a long time now." Lucinda stated, she flew and kicked him on the stomach; his stomach vibrated, and he fell to the floor and collapsed.
