Golden statue

"Lucinda, get over here!" Ralph said, waving at her from inside the truck.

"I am on my way." Lucinda replied and pushed Mr Maxwell out of the way with her leg.

"Boss! Are you okay?" Mr Maxwell's goons asked running to him.

Lucinda smirked and ran to the truck.

Ralph opened the truck for her and she entered.

"Why do you have to do that?" Ralph inquired, staring at Lucinda, who was putting on her seat belt.

"He was trying to attack us." She muttered.

"Anyway, let's go." Ralph declared and put on some cool music, driving away at a great speed.

"Slow down, we are in a truck, not a sports car." Lucinda stated.

"I know, but we need to get there fast. I feel like we are being trailed." Ralph declared.

"I don't know why you think that." Lucinda whined and started staring at the side mirror when she saw a black Mercedes Benz behind them.

"I think you are right, or it's just a coincidence that he is going in the same direction as us." Lucinda muttered, eyeing the car.

"Let's find out." Ralph stated Making a U-turn, the car also made a U-turn.

"We are being trailed." Lucinda stated.

"I am not sure yet. There's only one way to find out." Ralph stated and reversed the car back to the road he was coming from, and the car followed him.

Lucinda gasped at the sight.

"Do you think it's Mr Maxwell?" She asked bluntly.

"I am not sure. Didn't he pass out? Or it must be his goons." Ralph replied.

"Can't we just ignore them and drive to the gold smith," Lucinda stated.

"Let's do that," Ralph replied.

Minutes later.

Ralph was about to enter the company of the Goldsmith when something like a huge Janet entered the back of the truck, pulling the truck back.

"What the hell?" he muttered, looking back at the side of the truck.

"What is happening?" Lucinda inquired.

"We are being pulled back by someone. I have lost control of the wheels." He stated.

"So what are we going to do now?" Lucinda asked, looking back at the truck to check if the golden statue was still in place.

"I don't know," Ralph said, kicking the door open.

"Let's jump out," he added.

"But it's dangerous," Lucinda whined.

"I will protect you," he assured, extending his hand to her.

Lucinda reluctantly grasped his hand and he pulled her out of the truck.

They both fell off the truck and landed on the ground.

"The gold is going." Lucinda muttered, holding her head while staring at the truck. It was a bigger truck that was dragging it away, followed by the black Mercedes.

Suddenly, all the trucks came to a halt, as did the cars.

Ralph helped Lucinda and they both stood on their feet staring at the truck.

Ninjas wearing white robes and black belts rushed out of the black Mercedes. They were two in number.

"So the rightful owner is back to take it," Ralph remarked.
