"Are we going to let them have it?" Lucinda inquired, looking into his eyes.
"Let's just let it go. It's not ours anyway, and besides, we have no weapon to attack them." Ralph replied.
"But they are just two. We can hold them off." Lucinda stated, clenching her fists into tight balls.
He put his hand on her shoulder, putting his face closer to hers.
"We can't. Those people are dangerous. Who knows if that other truck is not full of Ninjas?" Ralph added.
"I think you are right," Lucinda said, narrowing her eyes at the truck.
The ninjas opened the boot of the truck and walked inside to examine the golden statue.
"Let's go," Ralph said, grabbing her hand.
"What about our dreams? And what we want to do with the money?" She asked.
"Let it go. I regret stealing it." He added.
"Hey! You there, this is for you!" A ninja yelled and fired a gun at them.
Ralph dragged Lucinda with him and teleported her with him at a great speed.
They both find themselves in Ralph's house in the living room.
"Are you okay?" Ralph asked, touching her face.
"I am fine. What about you?" Lucinda inquired.
"F..fi..." Ralph couldn't complete his speech when he fell to the ground.
Lucinda turned him over and saw a bullet in his back.
"Goddamnit!" She muttered, looking around, she ripped off his clothes. She put her hair on his back. Her hair turned into hands and it dragged out the bullet from his back and handed it to her.
"Man, I miss my hair." She said, staring at the bullet.
She teleported to his room and started looking around for a first aid kit.
She found it and teleported back to him in the living room and brought out a cotton wool, using it to clean the bloodstains on his back when the wound was healing.
"I need to get revenge." She muttered to herself and teleported back to the road, but the ninjas were gone, and only the truck was still in the middle of the road.
"I will let it slide." She muttered and teleported back to Ralph, who was rolling on the floor.
"What is wrong with you?" She inquired.
"I am cold." He muttered.
"Is that the reason you are being dramatic?" She remarked and walked over to the AC and turned it off.
"Thank you," Ralph said in a soft tone, and he got up from the ground and sat on the couch.
"I need you to make me coffee." He muttered. he was feeling uneasy. Okay,
"Give me a sec." Lucinda beamed and walked away.
Ralph stared at his hand, which was glowing white. All of his body started glowing white.
"What is happening to me?" He muttered and got up from the couch as he started hearing footsteps.
He ran to the balcony.
"Stop! Stop!" He exclaimed, tapping his hand.
"Honeybun, where are you?" Lucinda inquired, looking around the living room.
"Stop glowing," he muttered, frustrated.
Lucinda dropped the coffee on top of the table and started walking towards the balcony.
