Emotional

"Calm down, baby, you are too emotional." Ralph remarked, stroking her back.

"How can I not be emotional? I thought you were dead." She sobbed into his shoulder.

"I don't feel so good. I feel like the more you embrace me, the more I lose myself." Ralph commented.

Lucinda pulled away from the hug and wiped her tears.

"Let's go to your house." She muttered.

"Help me up. I am too weak to stand up." Ralph replied.

Lucinda put his hand around her shoulder and started walking down the beach with him.

"You guys are really strong." The lifeguard teased.

Ralph glared at him. He was having brain pain. His slimy hand slipped away from Lucinda's grip and he fell on the floor.

"Ralph! Ralph!" Lucinda called out to him, but he was unconscious. She put her head on his chest to check if he was breathing, but he wasn't.

Ralph was laying on the floor as Lucinda saw white smoke coming out of his body, and it all went to heaven.

She cleaned her eyes. She didn't know the meaning of what had just happened to Ralph. First, his eyes stopped changing colours, and now he was unconscious.

"Take him to Deacon." She muttered to herself.

"What is wrong with your boyfriend? Need some help?" The lifeguard inquired.

"Go away!!" Lucinda yelled and lifted him off the ground. The bodyguard was thunderstruck.  That Lucinda was carrying Ralph like he was a baby.

Lucinda started walking towards the car and teleported with Ralph. The lifeguard opened his mouth in surprise and walked away.

Lucinda arrived in front of Ralph's company; all the workers had already gone home because it was already mid-evening.

She walked closer to the opening of Deacon's cave and when Ralph made sleep sounds, she stopped and stared at him and sighed because he was still sleeping.

She teleported into the cave and started walking towards Deacon's cave.

She was hearing Deacon's voice. It was as if he was talking to someone.

"Tell him to let go of Ralph. He can't do this to him. He is only a little boy. He doesn't know what he is doing." Deacon protested.

"You, know, no one can challenge our God. You have to tell him to lea..." Lucinda wanted to hear when they stopped talking as she stood in front of the cave.

Deacon opened the gate for her, the look in his eyes was dangerous as if he knew Lucinda was a demon.

She walked into the cave and dropped Ralph on top of Deacon's crystal bed.

Lucinda looked around to see if anyone was in the room with Deacon, but he was the only one.

"What are you looking for?" Deacon asked in a rude tone.

Lucinda shivered as she looked up at him.

"I thought I heard someone else's voice just now. I guess it was my imagination." She muttered, trying to change the topic.

"No, you are right, there was indeed someone here, Lucinda, or should I say, the queen of the underworld." Deacon stated.
