Statue problem

Ralph walked to the other side of the car and entered. He sat next to Lucinda and put on his seat belt, staring at her.

"I can't wait for your new company to be built." She muttered.

"They can't build a house in one day, Lucinda." He whined.

"Really? So how many days?" Lucinda asked bluntly.

"I don't know, it could take years," Ralph muttered, and ignited the engine, wondering why she was asking silly questions.

Minutes later.

They both arrived in front of the company and stepped out of the car. Ralph stood staring at the builders who were measuring the company while others were carrying building materials.

"They have started walking already." Lucinda squealed.

"There's nothing to be happy about. Can you stay here with them? I need to see Deacon real quick." Ralph stated.

"Why? Can't I go with you?" Lucinda asked bluntly.

"Someone needs to supervise them, don't you think?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.

"Okay, no problem, I will be on the lookout. Don't stay that long. If not, I will come and look for you." Lucinda stated.

"Don't worry, I won't." Ralph beamed and walked away.

"Hey! Make sure you use refined material." Lucinda said, walking to the manager, who was staring at her in a confused manner.

"Who are you?" He interrogated.

"I am Ralph's wife." She said, with a toothy smile.

"Okay, but stay within your limits." The man stated.

She frowned and stood beside him, although she was curious about what Ralph wanted to talk to Deacon about.

....

"You mean your whole body was glowing?" Deacon inquired.

"Yes, and it didn't stop till I cut myself. It was really strange and unusual," Ralph remarked.

"Hmm, glowing of the skin. I don't know the reason. I think it's either Queen Luna has cast a spell on you." Deacon suggested.

"But I haven't seen her for a long time now." Ralph remarked.

"You don't need to. Tonight is the witching hour. I would like you to be careful because that's when witches and demons are most active." Deacon stated.

"I am not satisfied with your response. I think I need to do some research of my own," Ralph said, stroking his chin.

"Let it go. Don't think about it too much. If it happens again, let me know." Deacon remarked although he knew something, he was not telling Ralph.

"I have to go now. Lucinda must be getting bored up there," Ralph stated.

"Ahhhhh!!" He heard Lucinda's voice and a loud thud. Boom!

"I think she came here," Ralph muttered, putting his hand on his face, and ran to the entrance of the cave.

Where he saw Lucinda laying on the floor with her face on the stone.

"What Happened Lucy?" he asked, running to her on the floor.

Lucinda looked up at him. Her ocean blue eyes were shaking as she stared at him.

"My entire body hurts. I fell from the ladder." She muttered.

"OMG, that's dangerous. You are very strong for being alive," Ralph remarked, touching her waist.
