Chapter 50

Stephanie leaned back on her couch, legs crossed, gazing at Agatha

"You look different" Stephanie said in a mocking tone, accessing her features 

"It's funny isn't it?. I'm sure you really enjoyed yourself with me not around" Agatha said standing opposite

"How could I? You and I know what you did" 

"It was for the best and it really did a good job in taiming you while I was gone"

"You can never tame me, you just hindered my powers"

"Same thing" Agatha smirked while Stephanie glared at her

"I understand you want your powers back" Agatha walked stealthily towards her

"Why did you take then in the first place?" Stephanie already fuming in anger

"You challenged me so i did the rightful thing. Curse you . You know what happens when you try to challenge a realm sister. I shouldn't be lecturing you"

"That wasn't enough. The annoying part is that you had the audacity to come to my place"

"I didn't come to chit chat with you. I came for buiseness"

"I don't want to make any deal with you. You are just as corny as those lashedtas"

"I will watch my mouth if I were you. Am still superior to you remember?"

"No you are not. You are dead and you shall remain dead for as long as possible"

"What if I wanted to help you break the curse?"

"I don't trust you"

"If you want your powers back and the pendant then you will have to trust me"

"You will just end up fooling me, I am not taking any chances"

"Are you sure about that?" Agatha said looking intently at Stephanie

"I have noticed how keen you are on getting that pendant. Even went as far as threatening Javier. How pathetic" Agatha said amidst laughter 

"What are you saying?" Stephanie scrowled 

 "My point is that I can give you your powers back, with or without the pendants"

"And why would you do that" Stephanie asked, knowing that Agatha couldn't be that generous to give without taken. She was just like that the devil who always had to take something in return. The devil must have found out that they really had something in common that's why he released her from hell to continue his work on earth

"Of course. I want something in return. I want you to bring me back to life, fully" Agatha said and Stephanie erupted with laughter

"Are you bring serious?. I don't even have my basic powers, now you want me to bring you back to life. How am I supposed to do that?" Stephanie asked looking  at in disbelief 

"Easy, get me the shiel pendant"

"Urm sorry but that is almost impossible. Everybody wants that pendant. Even I, gave up. Lagatha wants it, Andrew wants it too. Infact the whole Cartel wants it"

"No wonder Andrew took Hattie hostage and lagatha took Fay. Those Cartels bastard don't know what they are dealing with" Agatha said and Stephanie looked at her in shock

"I knew that Fay was taken but I didn't know about Hattie"

"No wonder you weren't able to find her?" Agatha said speaking her mind 

"Even Javier couldn't find her. I see how desperate you are to get that pendant. Just to get your powers back. Look if you help me I will help you too. It is a 50, 50 thing"

"I don't still trust you"

" You have to, life is a risk. So why are you so uptight"

"If you play me. I will send you back to hell and I could die trying"

"The pendant is with Javier at the moment" Agatha said totally ignoring her statement 

"Come to think of it, why do you need me to get the pendant when you clearly can?"

"Well because, I am not fully alive and I can't operate that effectively in the physical realm.  The shiel pendant will be to powerful for me to behold that why you have to bring it to me. If we get the rituals right, I will be back fully"

"Hmmm. Then I will get my powers back?"

"Most definitely"Agatha smirked

"Then let's see how it goes" Stephanie and said and Agatha began  to fade slowly until she finally disappeared 

Stephanie wasn't sure what to do at the moment. Trusting Agatha was not something one could pull off. At the same time, if she didn't take this risk, she might end up not getting her powers back and that has been her priority for 11 years. 

She hated the fact that she was as weak as the humans and she could do anything to reverse it. She was a hyran but a hyran couldn't be a hyran without powers. 

She remembered challenging Agatha because of how recklessly she went on with her life. Getting involved with humans which resulted in two girls. Agatha placed a curse on Stephanie, hindering her powers and that the only thing that could break it was either the shiel pendant or Agatha herself

After hearing about Agatha death, Stephanie knew that the only way out of her problem was to find the shiel pendant and that was what she had been doing for 11 years. She tried to locate Hattie. Losing her powers made things more tedious for her so it took a long time to locate Hattie.

Lagatha sat furiously with her hands on her forehead as she boiled in anger.

"Why is that boy so stubborn?" she asked after hours of sighing and putting adriel in a heated atmosphere 

"I told you that an ordinary threat can't work on someone like Javier" adriel shrugged.

"Can you stop being so calm about this situation" Lagatha roared " my buiseness is on the verge of losing it ground and you are behaving like this"

"You never seize to amaze me, Lagatha" he called out with a smirk on his face. No one needed to tell him how furious his wife could get when her emotions weren't contagious. If she was happy, she would want everybody to be happy, if she was sad, she will want everybody to sad as well and if she was angry, the same goes for everybody.

"Doesn't he love his mother for goodness sake?" Lagatha yelled getting up for her seat

"He does, he is just really smart and seems to know all your tricks" his eyes followed Lagatha as she made her way to the drink stand

"That boy" Lagatha mumbled, taking out a Hennessey from the wooden stand that had a glass cover, making the drinks alot more visible. She took the drink to where she sat and crossed her legs again, removing the cork with a wine opener.

"He is more than you think. I have always known that"

"Who's side are you on?" Lagatha asked, glaring at him

"I'm on your side honey. I just feel you should change your tactic"

"I knew that boy was differnts from the first day he came to our house for the first time with Andrew. He had a different spirit. I immediately sensed that he was a lashedta  but he clearly was different" Lagatha said in honesty 

"Even mephistopheles noticed" adriel stated 

"I have ran out of ideas" Lagatha said in defeat plunging the bottle into her mouth

"Agatha appeared to me In my dreams" she blurted out as soon as the bottle left her lips

"In what way?" Adriel asked, sitting up in anticipation to hear what she had to say

"It was shocking. I could earlier sense her spirit and her appearing to me In my dream, confirmed my suspicions that she was coming back to life" Lagatha's heart raced a little

"What did she say to You?" Adriel squinted his eyes, totally confused by the whole story.

"A lot but one thing is sure. She is furious and she bound to get her revenge when she comes back to life"

"How does she plan on doing that?. I thought when someone is cast into hell, there was no way out"

"I, sent her to hell, mephistopheles didn't.  I am not that strong to send someone to hell for eternity"

"So how does she plan on coming back?"

"There is only one way to do that. The shiel pendant possess such powers to bring someone back to life and I have a feeling she knows. That was why she was so sure about her resuscitation. She might be haunting for the pendant as we speak"

"She can't get it, because if she does, there is no way we will be able to stop her if she comes back to life. She can be very furious and what you did to her will make her more furious"

"The problem is, I have not even gotten  the pendant for myself. So how the hell am I going to find it?. That girl know nothing about it. I bet she doesn't even know who her mum was... is" Lagatha said

"I thought you mentioned that there is another girl?" Adriel asked 

"There is. But your son has her" Lagatha said putting stress on the son. She was really tensed and she wanted Adriel to be apart of it

"Does she have the pendant?"Adriel asked totally ignoring her annoyance 

"Now I don't know. She is the only possible one that could be with it. If she had the pendant, Andrew would have taken it from her and he would start practising its power so I doubt if she even has it"

"So it she doesn't then who has it?"

"Don't ask me" she snapped. "there is alot in my head for me to think at the moment"

"You need to settle your mind in one thing and I see no important priority than finding the pendant. It is the centre of everything. If we have it then, all the problem would just disappear like it was never there"

"Don't you see the problem, old man. I can't seem to find the pendant"

"What is Hudson saying about it?"

"That incompetent bastard. I might as well have to get rid of him"

"Then where are you going to find a lashedta guard?. A human guard would be more useless"

"Urggh" Lagath A groaned, flinging the bottle of henessy in her hand to the floor causing it to shatter

"I wish I could destroy all of them Like this" she shouted angrily pointing at the shattered glass on the floor. She turned to Adriel who looked at her too stunned to speak as a result of  her outbursts "why can't I just get rid of them" she screamed at top of her voice 

"Well?" She called out to Adriel who wasn't saying anything 

"Well what?" He shrugged at her

"Aren't you going to say anything?"

"I have already said enough. You just need to calm you and your anger issues"

"I don't have anger issues. They just have a way of sitting on nerve"

"Of course" Adriel said sarcastically "I have always told you, being angry will hinder you thinking ability. That's why your thoughts are so crowded with unsettling thoughts"

"I wonder how you even do it. Remain calm in such situation"

"The fact that we are married doesn't mean that we are alike, get that" Adriel spoke with honesty  "Why don't you try asking Andrew about the pendant or you are still scared of you son?"

"Says who?" Lagatha scrowled, squaring her shoulder.

"We both know that you find him terrifying. Your own son" Adriel laughed in a mocking tone

"Why blame me, we both know how Andrew can be"

"No I do not know" adriel said ferning ignorance

"He is different  and you know it"

"He is still your son" Adriel stated

"He is different and he never seize to amaze me" Lagatha said it and she meant every word that proceeded out if her lips. She knew very well and no one needed to tell her her son had a psychotic trait. She couldn't even sleep in the same room with him at night because of fear of what he might do. He was corny and Lagatha found it very difficult to read him

To cut the description short, she gave birth to the devil's son
