Chapter 59
Everything was falling into place, things were getting much better. Fay was back, Hattie was back, Lagatha was getting more weaker by the day, thanks to the deal Javier made with mephistopheles. Things were getting much better and the only enemies left to tackle were Agatha and Andrew.
Bella and Javier stood on the gesh mountain, far away from home, ready to end Agatha's madness. The strong wind blew against their faces and the constant lightening and thunder promised a heavy rain. The weather was perfect for a combat between a lashedta and a hyran. One would thing that they had the upper hand since they were two but Agatha was too powerful, so one couldn't actually tell.
"How long?" Javier asked ready for anything
"She would come, that's certain"
The deal was to fight her to weakness and then finally take the pendant from her. It wasn't going to be as easy as it sounded but they were ready for anything
They stood and the day was already getting darker as a result of the rain that was approaching. The lightening and thunder didn't seize as it kept on hitting loudly.
Bella tugged her hair behind her ear and wrapped it into a bun. She wasn't cut out for any distraction. Agatha was too quick. She might be adjusting her hair and Agatha might have her on the floor. They needed to be as alert as possible as Agatha was not a being to be played with
Javier thought of Hattie at home and he knew he had to return to her. He would have her in the back of his mind when fighting. He was doing it for her.
"She's close. I can sense her" Bella said, looking at every angle, her head could turn to and Javier was at alert.
"From where?"
"I don't know, she is trying so hard to mask it but I can feel her. She might pop out of any...." Bella wasn't allowed to finish her statement. She was sent to the floor with full force. Her knees brushed against the stony floor and she groaned in pain
"Looking for me" Agatha said from behind Bella and erupted into a menacing laughter. She walked away from Bella that was groaning in pain on the floor and walked over to Javier. "You made a very bad decision, boy. You..."she was still talking when she felt something push her from behind. It was Bella and she was back on her feet. Javier went over to Agatha and pinned her to the ground with his knee. He was about to take the pendant off her neck when she turned around with a very fast reflex pinning him to the Floor. Bella was about to rush towards them, but Agatha used her hyrans tactic and sent her body against a stone with a hand gesture. Bella shout yielded pain. She tried to get up but it was almost impossible. Her leg was probably dislocated.
Javier on the other hand was on the floor and Agatha kept banging his head against a stone with a really fast reflect. It was really hard for him to see but he managed to flip her over and flinged her towards a rock to give him time to tone down the mighty ache that developed in his head.
Agatha being the hyran she was and also with the help of the pendant, she was back on her feet. The pendant was really making her powerful and if they could get it off her, then the battle was partly won.
"I've always doubted you abilities" she snickered and Javier glared at her with blood flowing down from the Injury on his head. He didn't have time to chit chat. His aim was to destroy her and he was sticking to that.
Bella finally gathered enough strength and stormed to where Agatha was. She tackled her from behind, sending her to the floor, pinning her there, she proceeded in hitting Agatha's head repeatedly on the hard ground, but Agatha looked like she was clearly unaffected. Bella tried to remove the pendant from her neck and just as Javier suspected, Agatha sent Bella flying to another platform yet again. By now the rain that was threatening to fall earlier, was pouring down heavily and they were all drenched in rain
"Stop trying" Agatha snickered In mockery at their failed attempt
"That pendant doesn't belong to you" Bella shot at Agatha, still in pains as a result of her impact with the ground
"But I have it now and that is all that matter. Bella. And also, another theory that matters is that the both of you are not getting out of here alive. The Hernandez would be forever gone, how about that?"
"You are just using that pendant for own selfish interest and with time it might get too powerful for you and you will willingly forfeit"
"Like you said, might. The shiel pendant is mine and there is nothing you lashedtas can do about it!" She screamed at the top of her voice and one could hear the anger in her tone. "It's always a...." she was sent to the ground and from the look on her face, Javier was able to tell that he had finally succeeded in inflicting pain on her.
"Quick tip. Never turn you back on your enemy" Javier smirked at her
Agatha groaned in a pain as she managed to get up. By now, Bella had already gather enough strength to fight back. She rushed towards Agatha and was about to attack, but Agatha was too quick. A force pushed her from where she stood over to the edge of a cliff. She was about to to fall off but something held her. It was a someone and it wasn't Javier. She turned around to behold the face of her saviour and shockingly it was Lawson. He pushed her away from the cliff and she fell on a safe side
She was baffled for a second. The look on Javier face was the same look of astonishment. Lawson is a Cartel and he just helped her off the cliff. The same way he helped Javier to get Fay back. What was he even doing here?. It was so confusing how he was betraying his bloodline and Javier wondered what he was going to gain. A typical Cartel would push her off the cliff but he just saved her from a mighty fall and it was quite insane
"You should stop this now Agatha" Lawson shot as soon as he had gotten Bella to safety
"Hmmm, a Cartel, helping the Hernandezs. How wonderful." She chuckled in mockery. "Three lashedtas can't take down a hyran that beholds the shiel pendant
"We'll see about that" Bella rushed towards her from the front and Javier from behind. They both crashed into her and sent her to the floor. Lawson pinned her down to the floor. She tried to get out of his hold but he was incredibly too strong. Javier finally was able to get the pendant from her neck succesfully. Lawson saw that he had already gotten the pendant and tried to stand up but he felt a sharp pain on his abdomen and fell to the ground
It was the sharilt knife and Agatha used it on Lawson. It happened so fast that both Javier and Bella couldn't do anything. They watched as Agatha faded slowly into the thin air as her scream echoed all over the mountain
Bella rushed to Lawson that was on the floor, gasping for breath. It was a sharilt knife and they was nothing they could about it.
"Lawson" she called out, raising his head slowly and placing it on her laps. He coughed out and dark blood proceeded out of his mouth, flowing down to her laps. "Breath Lawson" she instructed and Javier held her by her shoulder, signalling her that there was nothing they could do for him. A sharilt knife could not be reversed. Agatha was gone and so was Lawson.
Tears rolled down Bella's cheek as she watched as Lawson faded off her hand. He should have died a more normal death, rather than being killed with a sharilt knife. That way, he would go through external suffering. He didn't deserve it. He saved her from death and now he had to die himself. Why him of all people? Andrew should have being the one instead. It was clear that Lawson had a clean heart but this world was too unfair.
The tears couldn't stop flowing as she sobbed uncontrollably
"It's okay. Let's go back home" Javier consoled. He stretched forth his hand to her and they both vanished

The smile couldn't leave her face as she munched on the chip, continuously. Hattie hummed continuously, dancing to the tune of the sound she produced. Fay had earlier asked her what she was so joyful about, but she couldn't tell. Fay became quite confused as a result of her sudden change of mood. She was so gloomy last night, now she was bubbly. Too bubbly and it called for questioning.
Her thought we're interrupted by the ringtone of her phone. She picked it up and held it to her ear. It was Daphne
"Hey girl" she beamed
"Hmm someone is excited" Daphne said judging from the tone of her voice. "Anyways, I'm at the door"
"Right now?"
"Yes"
"Okay I'll be out in a sec" Hattie said and ended the call. She made her way out of her room and down the stairs over to the front door. She twisted the door handle and was faced with Daphne who had a wide smile on her face
"And you were the one on about me being excited" Hattie teased, stepping aside in order to give her more room for her to come inside
"I have news girl" Daphne said with a very high pitch voice to show excitement
"Spit it" Hattie said in anticipation as she watched Daphne take a seat on the couch
"Let's go over to my room" Hattie beckoned to Daphne and they both went up the stairs to her room
Immediately they got to her room, Daphne sat on her bed, bouncing on it and clapping her hands in excitment
"Do you realise how long it took me to arrange that?" Hattie scowled at her playfully, addressing the way she kept bouncing on the neatly done sheet.
"Anyways what's the news?" Hattie added
"Peter proposed" Daphne screamed, wiggling her fingers at Hattie with a slight giggle and Hattie finally saw the ring.
"No way" Hattie asked in astonishment. "When did he propose?"
"Yesterday night. He was like we should go for a dinner date and that was so unlike him. He fucking knelt down in front of everyone. He is so romantic" Daphne said and her excitement knew no bounds
"Oh my God, I am so happy for you dear"
"And I'm happy my self" Daphne said holding her fingers slightly away from her face in admiration of the ring.
"Its beautiful" Hattie complimented
"I cried my eyes out yesterday. I was too happy"
"Woah this is huge. I can't believe you would be getting married" Hattie said with a huge smile on he face. "Any plans for a wedding?"
"Not yet. He just proposed yesterday Hattie" Daphne rolled her eyes playfully at Hattie.
"I'm so happy for you" Hattie said yet again but this time she hugged Daphne tightly and they both giggled endlessly
"Where's Javier?" Daphne asked when they both broke the hug
"He is out, Any problem?"
"No I was just asking"
"you were just asking or you wanted to know if you are free to talk about him as you like" Hattie teased
"Hey. Don't blame me for wanting the best for my bestie" Daphne said faking being offended
"Most certainly" Hattie said sarcastically
"What? You can't necessarily blame me. I just find a hard time trusting him" Daphne shrugged
"Yeah keep your trust issues to yourself"
"If you say so" Daphne said with a slight shrug
