Love is a beautiful thing when shared, when reciprocated, when cherished, when nurtured. Love will definitely fall apart when it is one sided, when it is filled with painful memories and no sweet memories. Love will crumble when lapses are created and those lapses filled with bad intentions, lies, gossip, doubt and what have you. 
Such was the case of Anna and Andrew. Annna a naive young girl who was married to Andrew at a very young age fou d herself in a situation where she couldn't understand what went wrong or where she went wrong, they had been the perfect couple but he drifted apart and now they were world's apart, but she could solace in her gynecologist, after she had her first child for her husband,  she started to feel what she hadn't felt before. The feeling of sweet true love.

All she wanted was to get the attention of her husband, he was changed, he acted differently towards her, she wasn't sure what to make of his new attitude but she was willing to fight for their love.

She remembered when he came to her house and asked her parents for permission to go out with her, she had just written Jamb and was awaiting the results, not ready for anything like marriage but she found herself falling in love with the man who wouldn't just let her be, he wanted to marry her, he wasn't there to play with her, she listened to her friends praising her and telling her how lucky she was to find a man who was wealthy, powerful and famous wanting to marry her.

Anna wasn't really interested in fame and money, all she wanted was a man who would love and stand by her all day, she wanted him by her side all the time. Andrew was good at showing affection and it was not long before Anna was telling her parents she was ready to go with the man she barely knew, she didn't know much about him but she really didn't care, she wanted to be his wife, he was so powerful he commanded respect wherever he went and people got to respect her family because of him.

Her mother begged her not to loose such an opportunity, she told her it was God's way of blessing her for being a chaste girl, she further told her how her friends wouldn't miss a chance to seduce Andrew if she delayed in accepting him.

She was only eighteen at the time, Andrew was ten years older than she was, she felt he was too old for her, but he didn't look that old, he was way younger than most of her fat looking class mates. Not wanting to dissapoint her family and friends she accepted to marry Andrew and when they started dating, she fell for him.

He was I deed everything a woman could ask in a man, he was charming and wealthy, she didn't need to ask for anything, all she needed to do was look sternly at something she liked and he would immediately get it for her, he could read her mind, he knew her best good and her favourite look out. Anna was too shy around Andrew, he seemed to know a lot about relationships and she was just a naive little girl who just recently became a major few months ago.

Andrew had attended a wedding where Anna's family were also invited and while she served him and his friends he took an interest in her and since then wouldn't let her be, he visited her family always, showering them with gifts and luxury. Anna's father was so happy that he was going to get a rich son in-law, her brothers were not left out as they started planning on how to take advantage of the young man to leave the country and seek greener pastures outside the country.

But now looking at the man she had married, she wasn't sure if he was that Angel she k ew back then, he was a different person now, but in a really bad way.
