She walked out on him hoping he wouldn't follow her, but he did.
"What do you want from me?
She yelled at him and Angel stood still watching the drama unfold infront of her.
"Please Anna, I beg you, please do not hate me, I am really sorry, you are really different from.....
Not wanting him to finish what he was about to say he cut him shot, she really didn't want to hear about the previous night.
"Don't you even dare, don't ever talk about last night, I don't ever want to hear about that night, to me, that night never existed, you were only a mistake, an error I wish I can undo"
Joseph have never been made to hear such hard words before. though he had been hurt before, hearing this from her felt like his heart was breaking Anew, it felt like that was the first time someone was saying such words to him. He stepped aside, brought out a hand full of the highest note of the country and gave it to her. she collected them harshly, if she had her way she may not collect them but presently she didn't have a choice so she just collected the money and decided to zoom out as soon as possible.
Joseph stood there watching as she pulled her daughter close, the little girl could sense something was wrong but she couldn't really express more, she only looked back at him and stretched her hands out but he couldn't take them like he used to. she didn't cry, she just looked with sadness until they were out of sight, when Anna got to the main road, it was already past noon, she stood there for a really long while thinking of where she was to tell the bus drivers that she was going to. for a moment she thought about Andrew and how worried he sounded, his text had felt so real that she would have thought that she was watching him express himself to her in person. she had never had to feel that part of him nor see him in a vulnerable situation, a position where he was helpless and didn't know what to do, she looked around her and everywhere was so strange to her, even though the sky was still bright, she still felt so uncomfortable, she felt people watching her, she looked around and discovered for the first time that she was alone, she didn't have all the guards that used to stay with her and do her biddings, no body was working for her or carrying her luggages, she was carrying everything by herself, she looked around her again and found a young man looking at her from afar, he looked very rough and she became really scared. she held on tight to her daughter and wanted to call Andrew immediately as he was the only one she could think of to give her security at the time, but then the man started to walk towards her but before she could open her mouth to scream, Joseph appeared out if nowhere and doubled cross her.
"come in, let me drop you off.
