Chapter 55

Anna and Andrew were already at the house. They had come a day earlier to enable them spend the night at the house and then tell their parents what the problem was.

Anna was usually scared whenever she came to the family house because to her she always feels like they might get kidnapped or someone might want to hurt them.

The family was really wealthy and would always offend people in one way or the other.

"How are you doing Anna?

Came her mother In-law's voice which startled her.

"Oh mother. U didn't see you come in"

She stammered as she adjusted for her to seat close to her.

"I know you didn't and that is the problem. What is wrong, you look so lost. Is it because of Andrew's health condition?

Anna wondered why no one could see beyound the health issue. She was dieing inside and all they could see was his health issue.

Maybe she really needs to blame the health issue too. Or was she to blame Joseph?

She was in this mess because of the so called health issue.

"Not really mother.

I am just worried for him.

He is going to face his brothers today.

I wish they could all be supportive and not make him feel too bad.

"Don't worry about my sons. You know how they are. They mock each other. Fight each other but they could never be separated. They love each other so much and when it comes to a situation of life and death, I am sure they will know how to behave"

Anna smiled because she was right.

The Anderson sons were one of a kind. They really do love each other but Andrew always gets angry at their jokes and they end up fighting but no one could ever come between them.

Soon they door opened and it was Paul and precious.

"Oh my God dear, how are you, you look so beautiful.

She hugged her daughter in-law who immediately handed her the gift she got her.

"Wow is this Roseline ace?

Precious smiled and hugged her mother inlaw again. She was one of a kind. She had not even opened the package, she could only feel the shape and she could already tell the name of the perfume.

"Yes it is"

And they both hugged each other.

This must have caused you a fortune she asked, taking it to her room but precious responded.

"Well you deserve everything good"

She looked back and smiled at precious who winked at her.

Mrs Anderson was friendly with everyone and would never welcome enemity.

She always stands for the truth and wether you have given her a gift or not, if you do what is wrong she would caution the person and even punish if it is necessary.

"Mother you didn't notice me right?

Her son cried from behind but she looked back and eyed him.

Precious and Anna laughed at what mother and son were doing.

"Oh Anna, it's been a while"

Precious went and hugged her but Anna wasn't as free as she used to and she spoke very little.

"Are you okay?

Precious asked while her husband watched from behind. He took could tell that his brother's wife was a little different from usual.

She wasn't even wearing white the way she loved to. She was wearing a different color. It seemed as though she had been crying incessantly.

Her eyes were red but her makeup did a beautiful coverage for her.

"It's like Andrew have been beating her up lately"

Paul said and husband and wife both laughed .

"Common Paul, don't be like that" precious said still wearing the smirk.

"But Anna I think Paul is right, you look like you have been crying, and what are you wearing, I was expecting you to be in your immaculate outfit"

She moved close to her to touch her black dress that was designed with golden stones that firmed a triangular shape infront of the dress.

"Anyways you still look good.

"Thanks"

Anna muttered but just then her mother inlaw came back in and cautioned the couple immediately.

"Can't you both be a bit mature with your words, must you always be lousy and annoying?

They both laughed again but before they could respond, the door opened and Peter and Petranilla walked in.

She moved to greet her mother inlaw first after which her husband followed and the rest became a joke to their.

Peter hit his brother's head with the paper in his hands and they both started hitting each other playfully.

"Look what grown up men are doing?

Their mother cried, but they would not listen. Soon they started fighting that Peter decided to remove his shirt. 

"Oh my God these boy never grow up.

Precious brought out her phone and started to video them while Petranilla went and sat close to Anna watching the fight.

Peter soon received a punch that sent him to the floor and that was when their mother came with a cane and started to flog them the three started running around the house and it lighted up everywhere that even Anna that had been sad all through started to laugh.

The family was that fun to be with. There was no dull moment especially when they all gather round like this it was always a moment for everyone and they would go back talking about it.

Precious make sure that video doesn't  get out. You know how the press are. They would tag it that 'the sons of the Anderson beat up their mother,Lady Anderson. 

Or they say 'chaos in the Anderson family'

They would always try to make their head lines catchy so that people would buy their paper and they would not pick other families. Mine is where their interest lies.

What she said was true and they could remember so many other scenery but all they could do at the time was laugh.

They were still laughing and chatting when Miles walked in with a girl. This was the first time they were seeing him with a girl but this was not a party, it was a family meeting so the girl would have to leave.
