Chapter 181
The call between Anna and Petranilla, was listened to by Andrew. He confirmed his suspicion.
"So you have been lying to me huh? He asked rhetorically. And to think that I have been asking you all this while, I have been begging you to tell me, you could not even tell your husband, I will deal with you Petra, and then I will come for you Anna.
You have put me in so much stress, I have not even gone to the office since I started searching for you, I will make you pay for all you have done.."
He licked up his phone again, and made a quick call.
"I will send you a number now, I need you to track this number for me, I want to know everything about the owner of that number, where he lives and what he does, I want to know everything about him.
"On it boss". Was the reply, from the other end.
He got a call back and he made his way to leave his house when he got a second call, he checked the phone and it was his Dad.
"Oh No Dad, not now! He cries. He would give anything just to be able to leave immediately, he did not need any distractions, even though the day was about giving way to the night, he was sure, he would still get to where he needed to get to.
The address where the phone was at the moment was sent back to Andrew, he got the address and he could not believe that it was still in that remote area, his men had claimed they saw her.
"Now you have no where to hide anymore. He said, and it came out more like a whisper, but his father called back again.
Damn it Dad! He exclaimed, before taking the call and pretending to be in a normal mood.
"Yes Dad? He asked, and he heard voices in the background.
"Your mum had an attack, we are taking her to the hospital, she request to see you.
Call Peter or you go to him, I have been trying to reach him, but it is not connecting".
He needed the call, without waiting for him to reply.
This was not the sort of news he wanted to hear at the moment.
Things were working against him, even his own family seemed to be working against me.
He could not miss this chance of finding Anna.
"I am not the doctor to check her out, so there is really nothing for me to do there, so I am sorry Dad, I am vgoing to have to come a little latter". He said to himself and headed for the door.
On his way he called his brother, but just as his father had said, his number was not reachable, he had to finally call, Petra.
"HELLO! He greeted, trying to sound calm, even though he was angry with her.
"Wow, this is really late, hope you are okay? I mean calling at such an ungodly hour". She said, and he felt he was speaking with a hypocrite. He almost told her, what he thought of her, but he decided to keep it to himself.
Why would she tell him, she was calling in an ungodly hour, when she had just made a call to someone her husband was not even aware of.
"Father called me, he said, I should tell him to make his way to the family hospital". She had not allowed him to land, when sje exclaimed.
"Oh my God! Is she okay? He was expecting, such reaction, but he was not in the mood to answer her, so he simply said.
"Just send him my message, I will see him at the hospital". He said and drive off alone.
By the time he got to the village, it was already kind of dark, but he was determined to get to the address given to him, he was not with a tracker, but he only hope to find the person, who owns the phone and Anna, so that he could go back home with Anna.
He was able to get to where Maxwell lives, he knocked on the door and he saw a woman, she was his neighbour, it was a very poor area and every house looks like a pit, but that was somewhere, he could hide, till they put things right.
Maxwell saw him and his heart skip a bit.
"How did he find me here? He asked and he pretended to be sick.
"Please I am sorry to intrude, but I really don't know the face of whom I am looking for". He confessed and the woman smiles at him.
"Then how do you hope to find him or her? She asked, about to leave, when Andrew felt he should not have started calmly.
"I want to search every room in this compound, I am looking for this woman.(he showed her a picture) I am made to believe that she is here, Because, she made a call through this number today, as a matter of fact, few minutes ago". Joseph could hear him, so he took a different route to leave the compound, while Andrew stood there arguing with the woman.
"You cannot just come into my house and to every other room here, how do I know you are not a thief". She said, and Andrew almost laughed.
Even if he were a thief, would he not go to the big City, would he come to a poor home like this, where he was supposed to give them, to steal.
"Please cut me some slack, I cannot waste my time like that, there is nothing to steal here, and I want nothing from this place, I just want my wife". He said, but his harsh time was not working.
The woman soon started screaming, she was scared now, as Andrew wanted to forcefully push her way through.
The woman started calling on her daughter, who was also known as Anna to come out and help her. Andrew mistook it for his own Anna and waited for her to come out.
"Anna dear, please come out, there is a thief here, call the police". She screamed for a long time, before her daughter who had an ear piece on, could hear her, when she rushed out, Andrew saw that she was not his Anna, he was disappointed, bit he was not ready to give up so quickly.
He brought a bunch of the highest note in the country and gave it to the young girl that came out, she looks like one who would not mind, giving him information for money, so he asked.
"Take all this morning, but tell me, where I can find this girl". He also showed her the picture and she, seeing the cash, claims she had seen her before.
"I will tell you what I know, but you have to give me the cash first.
"Cash is not a problem". He gave all to her, but then after they were safely in her pocket, she said.
"I have seen her here before, she came to see brother max, one man that stays somewhere around there, (she pointed at Maxwell's apartment.
If you can get that Maxwell, I am sure you will find her, I guess she is his lover".
"Anna, how can you tell lies, Because of cash". The woman yelled and tries to tell Andrew that the woman he seeks was not around there, but the girl insisted.
"If you are sure, you have seen her, tell me something unique about her?.
She scratched her head and said.
"She is beautiful". That was the easiest thing, she could come up with. Andrew knew then that she was lying, he stretched out his hands to ask for his money back.
"You do t have an information for me, but I like you, so I will let you have all the cash". The girl was so happy, because she had thought that he was going to take back the money, but instead, he brought a picture out and said to her, I will drop this picture with you, when you find her, please, give me a call, I will give you give times more if what you have now.
Maxwell saw that Andrew came with no one, when he got to where his car was packed, he tampered with it.
"Now you will pay for making me loose sleep.
He threw his phone away, and not knowing where to sleep that night, he went to a motel.
The deal was sealed and Anna promises him to look for his pregnant wife for him.
Andrew went back home, feeling a little angry, he drove straight to the hospital, where he found all his brothers. Even Peter was already there with Petranilla.
Andrew searched all of them one after the other, when his eyes landed on Petranilla again, he thought of making her pay.
