Anna could not believe her ears, she felt like she was going to die, if she had been told, that a day would come, when she would be told, that her daughter was missing.
"God please keep my daughter safe, please Lord, help me". She started breathing fast, she could not ca herself, she was about to loose it.
Joseph was very worried about the outcome of the news his uncle had brought to them.
"Please Anna, be ca, let me go and look for her, I know I will be able to find her".
"I have to come out, they don't need to know about your existence, if they do, it would be something else, please, do not come out, just stay, maybe if I come out, my child will come out.
"She stood up and walked towards the room, she was ready to do just about anything to find her daughter, but she was not ready to have Joseph take any risk for her.
When she got to the room, she lay on the bed, her eyes was fixated on the ceiling, it felt like she could read or see her daughter, just by looking up at the ceiling.
Joseph was so worried, so worried, that he could not console her, he kept blaming his uncle, he went back down stairs to find his uncle drinking his champagne.
"How could you break such news to her? You know her condition and yet look at the kind of news you broke to her, why did you not tell me first.
Maxwell was busy sipping his drink and huming a song, it was a known song, his father used to do that too, whenever he didn't want to get angry.
"Shut up! He yelled at him. Instead of blaming me, don't you think you should be trying to console her? (He said, pointing towards the room where Anna is) I am not Afraid of anything, I knew we were coming to this, with the way Andrew had been following me up and down, I knew he would find me some how, but I could never believe that he would stoop so low to kidnapping his own daughter, just to bring Anna out.
"Are you saying Andrew kidnapped his own daughter? Joseph asked in shock, he could not believe his ears, that was so not possible.
"Are you sure about what you are saying? He asked, hoping he would tell him something that was possible, so that he could at least have something to tell Anna.
"I don't know, I guess, iran that man is desperate, that was likely what he could do, he could do it, he had already been a thing like he was running mad, so if he had seen this way as the only way to bring Anna out, then he would and now she wants to come out.
Joseph became interested," how would you have reacted?
"I would have suggested, that she remains in this house, if she does not come out, he would bring Angel out, I could send my men to search very well and you will see, that what I just said, is the truth.
Joseph thought hard about what Maxwell said, he was sure that his uncle was right, bit how he was going to explain it to Anna was the problem, she never listens, she would not even listen to him, and he could not blame her, Angel was her daughter after all, a daughter she had been so worried about and angry that she has not been with her for so long.
He rushed back upstairs to find her crying.
"Please don't cry". He pleaded with her, she looked up at him and started blaming herself.
"This is all my fault, I should have been more discreet, I should have tried to reach out to her, now someone have kidnapped my daughter.
She wailed and her tears increased, Maxwell could not stay down anymore, he rushed upstairs, to see if there was something he could do to calm the situation, but by the time he got to their room, she was struggling with her breath, she closed her eyes and could not hold her breath anymore.
Joseph rushed to get a cup of water to help her calm down.
"Stay with me". He said, but when she looked around and saw his uncle he begged him.
"She needs to get to the hospital, and she needs to get to the hospital now.
It was like a wake up call, because, her breathing increased and before Maxwell could make up his mind, she fainted.
