Chapter 190

She fainted, and was immediately rushed out, Joseph was confused, he forgot his lenses and his disguise, he did not even fix them well, the beard he fixed was falling off, as he raced after Maxwell, who had carried Anna outside.

He too, started breathing in a really wrong way.

"you need to calm yourself down". Maxwell said, as he started the car, while Maxwell sat behind.

As  he felt the fresh air of the evening, Joseph knew they were missing out, on  a lot of thing.

No wonder his uncle kept saying they needed to leave, so that they would live their lives in a world where no one would be after them.

Maxwell drove to the hospital, it was like the only hospital in the Area, Joseph knew what to do, all he needed was equipments, and he would take care of his woman.

"please be alright" he said, as he stroke her hair, he roved the strands of hair, on her sleepy face, as she gradually woke up.

"where are we? Anna was asking with her eyes closed, what she was feeling at the time, was the air, that was blowing her hair, as they drove, so even though she doesn't know where she was at the time, she could feel something different, and the air was mesmerizing her brain.

when her eyes were fully opened, Maxwell, turned on the inner light of the car, and the face Anna could see infront of her, was that of Joseph, she smiles, and he smiles back. For once, he was happy, that she was okay to smile, so he said.

"Everything is going to be alright, I am going to take care of you, and you will be okay". He was trying to assure him, when she opened her eyes in shock.

"huh? Where is my daughter.? she must have remembered, what the last thing they were talking about, was.

Joseph saw that they were already closed to the hospital, when they got I'm, there were very few doctors and nurses around. It was already late in the night.

They eagerly welcomed them, but some how, Joseph could just not do anything, she wanted to take Anna to another hospital.

"hello I am a doctor too, I  want to join you to take care of her?  He told the doctor, and the Doctor allowed him in.

He seem to need an apprentice, he did not want to be left alone.

Joseph was happy again, to be left alone with Anna.

"Why are you here? Anna asked him, she was awake now.

"You scared me back there, please don't do that again". He said, almost in tears.

"I am sorry, I won't do that again". She tries to make him laugh, by laughing and making a soldier sign of putting her hand by the side ear, but then she wince in pain.

"You are going to be fine, I am here, and I am going no  where".

Anna was happy to hear what he had just said, even though she was very worried about him, she wanted him to leave, she wanted to be left alone, she wanted Andrew to find him alone.."I wish you can leave, it is too Dangerous, look at you, everything you manage to use to disguise yourself is out, you look like Doctor Joseph, of mountain Hill hospital.

When Joseph heard the name of the place where his former hospital was, he remembered Doctor Walter, he wished he could have him, bit he was far gone, so far that he may not be able to reach out to them.

"I don't care, even if I die, it won't be much of a big deal, after all , I have died before". He whispered and she smiles.

Her smile was so beautiful, that it made his heart stop for a second.

They have been together, for months, but he just doesn't seem to get enough of her.

"I love you". He said, and then, it feels like she wanted to use what he just said as a blackmail tool, because he said immediately". 

"If you love me, then you will want me to be happy". She said, and Joseph nodded his head like a baby, he sure wants her to be happy". Even though he could not explain, where she was going with what she just said.

"Off course, I want you to be happy". He answered eagerly, but then she pulled his hands and placed it on her forehead. "Then swear to me, that you will leave me and run, you have to hide, I don't want the to find you, they cannot kille, Andrew does not want me dead, but he wants you dead, his father wants you dead, they all want you dead, if you die, I might just die". She was speaking so fast, and her eyes became so teary, that her tears flowed freely.

Joseph pulled his hands away from her forei immediately".

"I am willing to die a million times over, for you, I don't care, but leaving you, is what I would never do".

Anna saw that she would not be able to convince him, she cried, and she soon started screaming, as she felt a sharp pain in her stomach.

"Ahhhh". Oh my God, I think the baby is coming". She manages to say, and she only increased her scream.

The doctor came in and Joseph started telling him what to get and what to do, he was running around doing exactly what Joseph asked him to do.

"My love, you are going to have to open your legs for me to check okay". That was not a problem for Anna, she has been opening her legs for him for months now, she spread her legs, her panties were already off, then Joseph said.

She has started to dilate, let us give her some time. He was talking to the doctor with his nurses.

They were all admiring Joseph, he seem to know alot about bringing children into the world.

"I guess he went and study these process, just for his wife". One whispered, Joseph heard them and said.

"I am a GYNECOLOGIST". He missed being called that, he missed what he had worked for all his life to be, only to start hiding.

With the way the nurses giggled and held on to each other, he was reminded of Prisca and Joy.

They were always so inquisitive about minor things, but the once here, seem to be even more naive, because they asked questions about vertically just anything.

"Why is her stomach swelling like that, I mean, I have not seen pumps like that before". 

"She is contracting". The other doctor with them said, and Joseph just concentrated on massaging her stomach and checking her every now and then.

The other doctor, whom Joseph didn't remember his name, seem to want to make himself known, because, somehow, Joseph seem to be taking the entire show, so he wish to steal some, so he went further to explain. No one asked him anything, but he wanted to explain.

"During the 1st stage of labour, contractions make your cervix gradually open (dilate). This is usually the longest stage of labour.

At the start of labour, your cervix starts to soften so it can open. This is called the latent phase and you may feel irregular contractions. It can take many hours, or even days, before you're in established labour.

Established labour is when your cervix has dilated to about 4cm and regular contractions are opening your cervix.

During the latent phase, it's a good idea to have something to eat and drink because you'll need energy for when labour is established.

If your labour starts at night, try to stay comfortable and relaxed. Sleep if you can.

If your labour starts during the day, stay upright and gently active. This helps your baby move down into your pelvis and helps your cervix to dilate.

Breathing exercises, massage and having a warm bath or shower may help ease pain during this early stage of labour". Joseph noticed that as he was explaining, the nurses were rolling their eyes, they were not interested in the tale.

Anna was now calm, after the massage, we just need to wait for the contraction to get serious.

The doctor also wanted to check Anna, so Joseph allowed him, but he stayed beside her.

Anna was made to come down from the bed, she was told to move about, she even jumped, while she was exercising, Joseph went to the reception, to meet his uncle.

How is she? He asked, the moment he saw him.

"She is doing well. What is the situation with Angel, any news? 

"They are still looking for her, but just take my word for it, her father, knows where his daughter is, he just want Anna to come out, and now she is out.

"She is going to have the babies today, I want her to have the babies today.

"Is it not too early? He asked, I thought you said it was till three weeks time.

"It could be two weeks before or two weeks after the EDD.
