Chapter 60

Eras left a few minutes later, and yet I still felt the gaze of the whole classroom on me. Aron is not back from his little hunting quest, and it seems Bryce isn't done either.

The frivolity of both their situations makes me want to laugh out in mockery. Bryce feels wronged by the way he had been treated by me yesterday, and so he's taking it out on the guy that I loved, but all the while he dosen't know that he's doing me a favour actually. He's making Aron feel the same pain that I had felt the other day. He's giving him his dose of the utter humiliation that he had planned to make me go through.

I smile at the thought of Aron's disgruntled face as he would probably spend the whole day searching for people, that probably weren't in school. I know Bryce well enough, well I don't know him but word flies fast among girls, he's not stupid enough to he caught doing anything in the school building, that would ruin his reputation as the slyest boy in school, and he wouldn't want that.

They'd probably left the school at the early hours of the first session, and then it would be shopping malls for the girl and her dignity for Bryce. Well that's if she even has any. The sort of competitions that go on among the girls over boys is outstanding.

Outstandingly brutal. Enemies are made from childhood friendships, and the rest of the population dosen't matter when it comes to the war for a boy. Girls will do anything be it coming out of thier respective shells,  betraying childhood friends, making enemies of thier fellow girls, all just because we want a boy.

The boy in question would have probably slept with all of the girls vying for his attention, or at least half of them anyway, and leave the other half grateful of his sparing them when they finally came to thier senses.

My mind strays to Eras and I can only imagine the sort of preparation the female population of the school will be making towards his encapture. There'd be a full onslaught of short skirts, and crop tops, and designer bags, and high heeled boots coupled with the latest fashion for all the baddies in town. There'd be betrayals, heartbreaks, alliances, all over the head of one boy.

The battle would be deadly and I can only imagine who Eras might actually end up with in the end. I wish, oh so fevrently that he isn't the sort of boy that would bask in the reality of all the attention he's getting. Boys like Bryce would love that attention, and take it as free levrage to bed as many girls as they can before it finally fades.

Eras with his golden hair and shining personality gets enough attention as it is, I hope even more dosen't change him. I don't like the notion of attaching myself to someone that quickly, only time can really tell how our friendship Is going to end. I can still feel Clay staring at me, only time will tell.
