Chapter 141

It seem Scott is still oblivious to the fact that someone is standing beside him, as he has lost himself picking through a patch of Chanel jackets.

I actually see something of a smile playing on his lips, and for a moment I think all this is just acting. Maybe he actually knows that someone is standing beside him, someone really famous and who shouldn't even be here in the first place, but he's choosing to ignore him and I wonder why my brother would want to do that. I almost let this little farce they are holding play out, until I look at his face, and I realise that he isn't faking anything.

For once my brother is actually lost in carrying out an action, an action that is so ridiculous that it shouldn't matter, but yet it seems to have taken him into it's own world.

Scott is finally feeling the thrill of shopping, he's feeling the excitement that comes into your veins, when you know you are doing something beautiful and would undoubtedly lead tp you spending a buttload of money as you would walk away later with multiple bags of happiness in hand.

Scott is lost in the same action that i was lost in before, he's simply shopping. I almost want to laugh at this, my brother would not be caught dead actually enjoying the action that is shopping, he wouldn't be caught dead wearing this little smile on his face.

The smile that makes him look more charming and brings out the sparkle in his eyes, as he inspects the golden buttons on a long Chanel overcoat. It seems the person standing patiently behind him is also enjoying this sight, the sight my brother portrays as he shops, but I can feel the stares of everybody in the mall on us.

I can feel the stares of everybody in this whole mall, as each and every persons gaze is practically drawn to Adrian face. I can hear Oakley silently counting down and I think I know what the countdown is for.

How many minutes until someone actually realises what is happening, and snaps out of their daze to let out an excited scream?. This place will become rowdy in the next few seconds if Adrian's guards don't come around.

It will become uncontrollably rowdy at some points, the point that each and every celebrity fears, the point that the crowd becomes manic at just getting a piece of you, and groping your face and ripping your clothes, and practically groping everywhere and it seems that is what snaps me out of my daze.

That is what snaps me out of the spell of thinking I had been stuck in stupidly thinking about what would happen.

"He knows the situation is dangerous, dosen't he?" I whisper to Oakley, and I can feel my same fear and excitement mirrored in her eyes. I wonder it's exactly how similar we are in this way, and I release something of a chuckle as an excited scream comes as predicted.

A bolt of fear rushes through my heart.
