"Seriously where were you?" I say looking at her. "I almost died in there".

She simply smiles as she continues sipping her smoothie and suspicion as rouses in me.

"You weren't with a boy were you?" I say wiggling an eyebrow at her and she simply laughs.

"You asked me to talk to five people didn't you. I ended up actually doing it".

I am utterly surprised at this, I'm actually surprised at this because I thought she would have taken the easy way out.

"You actually talked to five people?" I say looking at her and she nods her head.

"It seems people aren't that horrible after all" she says as she shrugs her shoulders and I look at her.

"Did you talk to people, or did you talk to boys?" I say and you can still see that glimmer of amusement in her eyes.

"Alright I talked to boys, but still, at least my perspective is changed now".

"When did your perspective even change in the first place?" I say looking at her and she simply smiles at me.

"He has been calling me y'know" she says and I want to ask her who this he is that we are talking about but yet I think I know who exactly he is.

"Did you pick up his phone call?" I say looking at her and she shakes her head.

"He sent me a text message this morning".

She hands her phone over to me and I begin reading it. I begin reading the nonsense that this guy is saying about him wanting her back, and about how he needs some money urgently because he has run out of funds for school. He has slacked off in his education and so the scholarship he's on is no more forthcoming, he has forfeited each and every right to that scholarship and now he does not want to disappoint his parents. He does not to disappoint his parents and so he is asking Oakley for money given the fact that he knows her parents are rich, and actually threatening to reveal the details of exactly what their relationship had entailed to them".

"He is blackmailing you?" I say looking at her and she nods at me wearing quiet an amused smile on her face and I wonder at this.

"Why are you happy that someone is blackmailing you?" I say looking at her and she cocks an eyebrow at me.

"Why should I not be happy when the fool finally got what he deserves?".

My eyes open wide at this. My eyes open wide at this as I look at her.

"Don't tell me you have a hand in him losing his scholarship" i say amusement almost in my voice and she smiles that delightful smile at me again.

"I have connections in high places, no one should underestimate me".

She's sipping her smoothie delighted again and I am looking at her utterly shocked.

Oakley has managed to actually shock me, not like she didn't manage it before but still, hell hath no fury than an Oakley blackmailed.
