Found but Lost

Luciana walked out of Michael's church in search of the chief whip, she knew that she might have scared the detective to death, but she did not care, all she wanted was to find her fiancee, damn the consequences she was willing to trample upon everything that stood on her way, atleast Lucifer was not around to boss her around  even if he was around, she doubted if he would do anything, because as far as she remembers, she was free.

She thought about the first place she could check for her search. And since he was not in the church, the next place that came to her mind was Michael's house. She sighed as she turned towards that direction and stormed the place .

When she got there, she marched the door open. And entered into the house, the place seemed quiet, but it felt like someone was there recently, because there was water on the gas, and the oven was on. She smiled as she slid in slowly to avoid making a noise

( Few minutes ago.)

The Chief whip sat on the sofa of Michael's chair making tea and toasting bread he felt hungry and wanted to eat, because it seemed like he was having a long day already. He was fanatical about Michael, he had always been. He and the priest had always served Michael, even when they did not have any  member. Michael appearing to them for the first time a few days ago made him more euphoric, he had finally confirmed that Michael was real, and that he was in heaven. It made him feel like he had the hope of entering the golden city at last, and maybe If he did more to please Michael, he would sit at his right hand on his golden throne.

Perhaps, that was why when Michael told them to send the letter to Luciana in order to frighten her, he went as far as abducting Josh to please him more. But when Michael had appeared to them last night he did not mention anything about Him, that was when he started to have the first doubt of Michael's ominipotency, but then he had to rebuke himself and put himself in check, matybe Michael refused to mention him because he was trying to protect him from being exposed to that crazy woman that came to their service.

Another proof of Michael's ominipotency he thought, was when he told them where to find the golden ink, how did he know where it was exactly if he was not ominipotent?.  The chief weep already thought about everything, he thought that Michael telling them about the house where the ink was, was also telling them that the house was empty and when he came with the priest to get the ink, it dawned on him that Michael needed him to carry out the action in the place without the priest knowing. So he did it.

Earlier  this morning he had wanted to go and visit his prisoner and the priest was asking  a lot of questions, he did not mean to kill him, they had a little argument, and then it graduated into a scuffle and before he knew what was happening he saw the priest on the floor with blood all over him, he had to call the police before he ran out of the building through the back door.

Now he sat making tea when he heard footsteps from out side, he stood up hurriedly and looked to be sure of what he had heard.  Then he saw Luciana, he did not recognize her but he felt he needed to hide, he stood up and rushed to the other side of the room to hide.

Lucifer rushed down from his car when he got to the address that Detective James had sent to him. He walked in and saw James sitting in the floor shaken to the bone . "Are you okay?" He asked as he ran towards him but he stopped abruptly when he saw the dead body on the floor. "Holy shit!!, You did this? Or you scared of corpses now?"

"It's not the corpse that I am scared of, it's the murderer." Detective James said as he narrated everything that he saw down to the point where he had shot at Luciana and his bullets where like toys when it landed on her body. Lucifer smiled as he wondered why things like that sounded so strange to humans, Like they did not know that there was something called eternal Life. He chuckled. James looked at him weirdly. "Is this funny to you?. I'm telling you how I might have come in contact with a Ghost and you are here giggling. We need to do something about it ."

Lucifer Paused. "Describe the lady you saw for me."  He asked as he already suspected that it might be Luciana , he listened attentively as James described her to him. And the description matched that of Luciana.

Luciana walked in and could not find anybody inside the place, she walked straight to the gas and switched of the gas, then she went and turned off the toaster, she heard a struggling sound coming from the bed room, paused and listened carefully, she heard the sound again. It sounded like someone trying to talk from closed mouth. "Josh?" She asked, "Josh is that you?" 

The sound came out louder as she  said that. She ran towards the sound of the place and saw Josh tied up to a chair, with some strange ropes, and his mouth tightly closed with strong ropes. "Josh!!. O my gosh Josh." She said as she rushed towards him but something looked strange, as she rushed in Josh was shaking his head negatively as if asking her not to come in..

But she ignored his gestures and rushed in. Then she felt a hard object hit her head, from behind her.
