Detective Luci

Luciana walked in and could not find anybody inside the place, she walked straight to the gas and switched of the gas, then she went and turned off the toaster, she heard a struggling sound coming from the bed room, she had to pause and listen carefully, then she heard the sound again. It sounded like someone trying to talk from a closed mouth. "Josh?" She asked, "Josh is that you?" 

The sound came out louder as she  said that. She ran towards the sound of the place and saw Josh tied up to a chair, with some strange ropes, and his mouth tightly closed with strong ropes. "Josh!!. O my gosh Josh." She said as she rushed towards him but something looked strange, as she rushed in Josh was shaking his head negatively as if asking her not to come in..

But she ignored his gestures and rushed in. Then she felt a hard object hit her head, from behind her. The object caused a sharp pain that ran through her veins and she fell on the floor wondering what kind of object it was.

"You know, when I saw you outside the house, I thought you where just a normal human Lady who lost her way, but then when you broke the door, I thought, oh this might be the lady that came to cause confusion In our church last night." The Chief whip said, then he paused and had a smirk on his face. "Now here you are right now, confirming my theory. I hit you with a metal that no human would survive, but look at you, on the floor with your hands on your head, weakened but not dead yet."

Luciana tried to stand up from the ground but it seemed like  she was carrying a heavy load on her head, as she tried to stand, the weird Force seemed to pull her down. "What did you hit me with?" She muttered  as she looked at the strange metal that the Chief whip held on his hand, but it did not ring any bells in her head.

The Chief whip chuckled, "no need to stress your self, trying to understand what sort of weapon this is, because you cannot understand what you know nothing about. I hit you with it once and you are all cry baby weak on the ground, I can't wait to imagine what would happen if I continue to hit you, and hit you hard enough. Who knows, you might end up dead."  He said as he laughed loudly and walked towards her with the strange metal.

Lucifer thought for a while after listening to Detective James's part of the story, he knew that Luciana could be brutal, but not this careless.  "You said a male voice called the police department right?" Lucifer asked James.

Detective James raised an eyebrow as he could predict the angle that the conversation was heading to. "Yes it was a male voice but what does that have to do with the situation at hand, it could be the priest that called, before she attacked him." He said .

Lucifer sighed. "Did the caller sound as though he was the one in trouble?"

"What are all these questions for?. I thought I was the detective here, I should be doing the asking and there are no suspects here." James was starting to get irritated.

"You called me here to help right, if you don't want my help again I guess I have to leave. Because I have other important things to attend to." Lucifer stated firmly. James sighed briefly, he really needed his help but not in the angle he was taking things to, he needed him to help catch Luciana. But if letting him catch himself up to the point where they where now in the case from where the had already passed long ago would let him help catch the culprit at last then he was willing to wait patiently for Lucifer to  bring himself up to date on the case. "Okay fine. He did not sound as though he was in trouble but what does that have to do with the case?".

"Don't worry, I will tell you when I am done with my questions."  Lucifer paused as he saw something close to the place where the priest Layed. "Where did you say that she went out from again?"  He asked .

James sighed heavily. "The main entrance."

Lucifer smiled. "That's good, that means someone else was here before she came in." Detective James looked bewildered . "And you know that because?". He asked.

"Keep your head on the ground detective. Look here there are blood stained tracks leading out of this place from where the priest lay to the back door,"  Lucifer said as he showed the detective the droplets if blood that lay on the flow with a pattern Dow to the back door and outside the place. "you see, that means someone else was here, before her, and he probably might have called, to cover up his tracks, and then you came in to meet an innocent person here, this place could probably be a public place and he knew that anyone could walk in and try to save the dying man."

James thought for a while . "You are right, for the first time I have to agree with you, this place is a church and he knew someone would come in here before we do. And we would arrest the person instead of him. But I'm not sure that the person I saw was actually a person she might be a witch or something."

Lucifer chuckled. "That's not the case at hand, right now we need to find this killer and not the innocent person who tried to save the man. What kind of church is this, it does not look like the kind that people who worship my father uses.".

Detective James smiled at what he thought was Lucifer using his 'my father' metaphor again. "Well this place is the church of the arch angel Michael not 'your father's house'."  He chuckled. Lucifer ignored his ignorance and  picked the important point. "Michael... I should have known." Lucifer muttered to himself.

"Did you say something?"  James asked. 

"No, nevermind. I know where we need to check. Let's go to Michael's house." Lucifer said as he wondered if Michael had broken his father's ban and returned to earth or something, well he was about to find out. 

James on the other hand was thinking that Lucifer was still on his metaphor jokes with his 'michael's house' thingy so he was not really clear. "What do you mean by Michael's house? I don't understand that part" he asked for clarity.

Lucifer sighed. "Never mind, let's just go."
