Twice in a month
Lucifer chuckled. "That's not the case at hand, right now we need to find this killer and not the innocent person who tried to save the man. What kind of church is this, it does not look like the kind that people who worship my father uses.".
Detective James smiled at what he thought was Lucifer using his 'my father' metaphor again. "Well this place is the church of the arch angel Michael not 'your father's house'." He chuckled. Lucifer ignored his ignorance and picked the important point. "Michael... I should have known." Lucifer muttered to himself.
"Did you say something?" James asked.
"No, nevermind. I know where we need to check. Let's go to Michael's house." Lucifer said as he wondered if Michael had broken his father's ban and returned to earth or something, well he was about to find out.
James on the other hand was thinking that Lucifer was still on his metaphor jokes with his 'michael's house' thingy so he was not really clear. "What do you mean by Michael's house? I don't understand that part" he asked for clarity.
Lucifer sighed. "Never mind, let's just go."

When Lucifer got to Michael's house with detective james, the place seemed kind of awkward. "Remind me, exactly What is it that we are doing here again?" Detective James asked not knowing if he should continue following Lucifer's lead or if he should turn around and continue the mission on his own.
"Trust me, I'm trying to help and I think I am on to something here." Lucifer stated as if reading James's thought.
"Trying to help by breaking in to someone else's house?"
"I'm just going to knock. " Lucifer said as they walked towards the door, but to their greatest surprise, when they got there, the door was already ajar. "Oops, I guess luck is already on our side now."
Detective James brought out his gun from the gun slate at his back, and then held it on his right hand, then he placed his left index finger on his lips, signalling Lucifer to keep quiet. "Seems like someone's got in before us." He whispered as they found there way into the apartment.
Inside the room Luciana layed weakly on the floor, as the Chief whip had hit her several times with the metal that he was holding, "ahh, this feels so good.", he said as he stretched to his full length to reduce the aching on his back.
"Why are you doing this?," Luciana asked weakly, trying to understand what he was up to. He chuckled, "does it matter?, All I know is that I am making Michael happy. And I will remove anyone that stands in my way." He said as he raised the metal to hit again, but was interrupted by Lucifer and James. "Freeze, drop your weapon, do not make any sudden moves or I will shoot." Detective James said.
"Reax, I'm just holding a metal, it's not going to hurt anybody, you would not tell the police force that you shot at someone who just came to you with a metal on his hands will you?. I suppose you won't, that would make you look as weak as hell." The Chief whip said as he moved slowly towards the detective with his hands up in the air. Luciana was trying to tell them something, but she was to weak to talk. Lucifer looked at her and saw her eyes move to the metal that the Chief whip was holding, he observed the metal more closely as the Chief whip came closer, and then it dawned on him how dangerous the weapon was.
"Shoot!!" He shouted. Detective James turned to look at him. "What do you mean by shoot, the guy is just holding a metal, I could take him down without my weapon, I was trained for this." When the Chief whip saw the confusion in their midst, he ran towards them and tried to hit James with the metal, but Lucifer saw it quickly and ran to block it with his hands before it could land. The metal hit hardly on Lucifer's hand, sending a rough signal down to his brain, weakening all the cells in it and he fell to the ground with a ringing sensation echoing in his ears.
James saw an opening and used his gun to hit the Chief whip on his head, and he fell to the ground letting the metal fall freely from his hands. When James saw him fall to the ground, he ran towards him and cuffed him. Lucifer forced him self to stand up from the ground.
"I told you that I could handle him without shooting." Detective James said . As he carried the Chief whip up from the ground .
Lucifer ignored him and walked up to Luciana. "Are you okay?" He asked her. She nodded with a smile. "I've saved your life twice in a month, what are the odds, seems like you owe me the favour in return." He added.
"I know, and I will surely repay those favours, but right now, I need you to untie my fiancee," Luciana said pointing at josh. "And one more thing, that guy was the one who killed the priest. She added weakly. Lucifer nodded with a smile on his face, although he was shocked to hear about the fiancee part, but she had the right to make her own choices, and he was not going to question her. "Don't worry, everything would be taken care of right now." he added .

( Later That Night in Rome....)
"Alright guys, arise everyone, it's time to return to return to Scotland.." Felix announced as all the Vampires gathered their bags and all they needed for the journey and joined Felix as he had instructed. "We are going to run through the forest as planned. So everybody follow me. It's home sweet home" he said as he ran into the forest, with others flocking behind him moving with full speed into the borders of Scotland .
